I can safely fast travel through the retreat.

Upgraded to 0.40.24.
Made a few adventure mode reactions to make playing as an outsider more !!FUN!!.
Basically, I can make all basic armors except gloves out of ANYTHING.
To add to the !!FUN!!, I don't have a choice of what kind of weapon or tool I craft.
Also, fat globs make massive amounts of items.

Just changed the raws to allow goblins to be played as, it gave me a taste for modding mmm.
So I made a demigod goblin and went walking to a dark fort for some babysnatching buds to follow me.. oh look a bunch of gobs (10+)
iron bolt misses you holy shit these guys wana kill me. The charge and as the swordsgob gets in range I stuck a dagger in the filthy maggots head he is struck down.
Then I realise Im fucked. And what do you know. I got murdered by my own race in my own dark fort.
Sheeyt thats the first adventurer in a long while that died that quickly. and the first that died that quickly without drowning.

I have read this can happen but never seen it. So I thought Id change the game a bit put some chocolate sauce on the vanilla icecream I did it to kobolds but they suck so bad its awsome.

With my modded raws, I have a goblin nervous tissue shield and a specific goblin's heart as a backpack.
For some reason, one specific hamlet in my current world has apparently been attacked frequently. Frequently enough that an elf administrator in the mead hall is complaining about goblin bandits in the streets.
Also, I tried hitting them with the shield, and suddenly everything but their upper body turned yellow, although their screen shows no injuries.
Strange.
EDIT: Attacking them with a kick to the teeth removed the unusual effect. Striking them in the throat with the shield did FAR more damage than I thought it would, making it explode into gore and causing them to bleed out after sprinting away from me.

While this isn't exactly adventure-mode related, I've discovered something... different.
Basically, I have slight changes to the raws; the only change is a new file defining different adventure mode reactions, letting me take nearly anything and make it into something else.
In arena mode, after some fun against an alligator snapping turtle with items made of vomit, climbing out of the center arena, floundering, and making it out alive, my character apparently gained some special skills...


Typically, Miner lands at the top of the list.
I've heard of some unused/removed skills, though, so...

Apparently I had pop cap down to like 5000 and stupid high number of monsters and such running around, so while some worlds have the occasional human or elf civs survive, getting just gobs happened several times.

Weirder was this world:

The adventurer there, Ulspa Wrathborn (Ulspa is the goblin word for dagger, like Urist) is wielding a set of force-mooded artifact gear because for some reason I was able to make a reclaim fort in that world, I assumed it was due to a necromancer somewhere but I can't find it.
