I was just going to go on a rampage or something with that character.

rampage. go for a rampage and slaughter every man woman and child n your starting village, then move on to another. repeat until death

(note this is not a recommended activity in real life, as fun it may be) ;D

Been cutting my way through every settlement I can find, killing everyone and taking a bone from each. Eight large villages now, I've been doing this solo, sleeping in a now empty minotaur labyrinth each night if I'm not in a town. Trying to find the queen. Once I find her, I'll kill her with her people's own bones.

niceeeee.....i robbed a bandit camp thay had lots of stuff. so knowing i needed a place to keep it i took over a site government and stored my stuff in an empty statue room. i have been looking at the art on the coins and items so it can be seen in legends mode.

you know what i would love? an adamantine commemorative coin with a tentacle demon on one side and a great battle on the other.

I'm having a wierd crash thing going on with a new adventurer which seems random, had it when I encountered what I think was an ambush and then again in a new reroll when I waited an hour in the starting fort.

Right now though, I'm investigating what happened to Runcastle, which was supposed to be an available starting location fort, but isn't.

Edit: I found some residents of that fort just standing around near the fort where I started, and nobody seems to be talking about an insurrection, though various groups are vying for control. So, no idea what happened.

Edit2: Got eaten by wolves, lol XD

Made a peasant adventurer as I always do. Spent countless time increasing his skills before looking for fun as I always do. Got killed in the first encounter with a goblin as I always do. Should make a hero or demi-god but I don't find it fun when I'm not on equal footing like everyone else.

well considering bogeymen at night are hitting skills around 10, and most folks in adventure mode are professionals in their trade the only 'everyone else' that would be equal footing is the peasants that start in towns, also don't think any of the recruits/goblins/bandits/nomads start out at lvl 1 then slowly grind their way to the top, they just spawn in with their skills set, otherwise you end up with legend mode bandits with series of kills than just them being born, then killed as their history. this doesn't got for the historical leaders just the mooks.

They spawn with skills sets befitting their positions and prior events.  Most common warriors seem to come out of worldgen with anywhere from novice to competent weapons skills, and their armor and 'support' skills usually lag behind the main weapon skill.
The same applies to diplomats and nobles.  They get [skilled] or [great] skill in a few social skills, and then the rest trail behind.

They do spawn with these skills intact - as a result of fighting and/or their positions.  It tries to simulate experience.  If you recall, worldgen battles arent actually fought atm.

Have fun in any way you want in Adventure mode, like rolling a Demigod/peasant/hero adventurer who dump all points into non combatant skills and trying to stay alive in the world via hiring companions and becoming a trader.

then again, with how Adventure mode is said to be you possessing a guy, I wonder how fortress guard having peasant point pool would work in game? like did she/he slack off training the whole time? or does the being that possess the guard wipe all her/his stats and skills? then they start crying because god they didn't want to punch gophers or hunt down bandits, their suppose to guard a fort, and they start missing their loveones.

that said I had a run in with bogeymen recently and some how got them caught in a standstill, wondering why they stop attacking me I booted up Gm-editor and check their data, I notice that yes even bogeymen are emotionally effected by Death, and will have a 'wish for world peace' dream in their unit.souls.personality. kinda wonder if that happens due to seeing death.

the standstill happen due to getting lucky with my dark days mod reanimator beaning a bogeyman with a darkbolt lighting a good 3x3 tile of fire around, and figuring I better jump into the flames since my character has max up climbing and nothing else and not making a dent outside of interaction damage.

edit: okay soo DON'T BE NEAR FIRE when you're character face is full of tears, or you're going to melt your face off from scolding sodium, I had to drink the stuff to stop bleeding.
let this be known, tears can conduct heat and will Melt the faces off anyone in fire... which kinda explains why fire killed those bogeymen... they all had their faces/heads melted off.

Trying to find an evil biome with thralling mist/vapor/cloud or rain, but the evil weather seems to be broken in this version in that it doesn't appear as often as it did before.

Unless it's possible for an evil biome to not have any evil weather? Deadlands (where all or nearly all vegetation is dead) and zombie biomes generally don't seem to get evil weather anyway.

You instantly beome a thrall if you walk into evil weather, just it takes time to find the RIGHT one that thralls you. Deadlands don't usually get it it's the one with LOADS of eyes and tendrils is where you get evil weather.
if you're getting poured on with blood then you're in the right spot.

In adventuring news, I'm enjoying 40.19 and the new update to advfort by building Tree forts. I only built the stairs for my companions since they can't climb trees some how. being able to build a floor on the tile your hanging on is great! just now need to figure out if I should I leave the place with a roof or no roof? also what happens if I build into the leaves?

Decided to ransack an abandoned town with my thralled necromancer werebeast with a small zombie horde while I wait for the full moon and found that the residents there have knives made of rock. I found out when I saw a priest draw out his/her talc carving knife.

Yes, talc, the same thing as talcum powder.

Couldn't find the priest as they ran off, but I found another corpse in the keep which has a tetrahedrite knife and a pouch made of vault guardian leather.

Not sure if I'll make a new report since it seems like it's part of the same bug behind http://www.bay12games.com/dwarves/mantisbt/view.php?id=1692

Agreement with what others have said. Will add this. Point allotments for peasant/hero/demigod are really about (scaled) expectations with what you can do/how you must do something rather than difficultly. Differences in difficultly would mean the game's mechanics are different for each. Combat has the same requirements at whatever tier, though how you need to meet those requirements may change. Novice weapon/fighter skill versus NPC is still the same stat comparison whether you're peasant, hero or demigod.
