After defeating a horde of Giant Dingos that bothered my sleep I decided to cross the mountain range and get back to my hamlet to get some proper sleep. Found a goblin band wandering around the town and decided to take them down.
It took a while before I realized my companions weren't there, still managed to take 2 goblins down and heavily injure another, but I was gravely hurt and ended up on the floor, being kicked around to death by a speargoblin.

hm the spearman keeps messing with my attempts to grab him anyway

oh i managed to bisect somebody that dosent happen often

quite often in the new version you have to take somethings armor off once its unconcious

Rolled a new adventurer. On my way out of the Hamlet I found my old adventurer's companions. I don't think they know. Neither do I, technically, so I couldn't tell them.

i came across 2 osprey men there chatter indicated that one had just attacked me so i did some non lethal combat and roughed the one that claims to have attacked me up a bit they will teach him not to lie about starting fights

hm i walked into what i think was a forest retreat into a goblin ambush i took 1 step and suddenly goblins started getting shot at i guess the elves saved me i did take a couple of bolts from a goblin crossbowman and eventualy fell unconcious but when i came to everything seemed calm pretty cool ocourence

i wish i could ask this pikeman if hes with the goblins

god damit why dont crosbow fireings show up in the combat logs

FUN. I had only a few moments as intense as now, hacking through the slade fortress with my companions from underneath (going up was impossible without advfort). Dozens of undead came from all sides, drowning us in their rotten flesh. Master crossbowman - the most recent recruit that survived HFS - was surrounded alone and torn to pieces. Swordmaster - experienced and daredevil, but foolish, followed his fate. Others, each a machine of annihitation, are smart enough to travel in pairs, painting the floor red with bodyparts.

Found the goblin raiding party that killed my previous adventurer roaming the same region. I think I killed them all. Found her corpse too.

I crossed a river succesfully for the first time, Jumped first and just climbed up. Then I decided to give butchering a try and got some tasty monkey meat.

Nothing big really but I've never played adventure mode much and these small things make it a lot more playable.

Found a bunch of "Twilight Horror" dudes wandering around the same spot I mentioned earlier. Tried to poke one of their wrestlers with my pike, he singlehandedly shred me to bits.
There's a certain "Captain" around the area that keeps screaming for me to save him too(it is an abandoned human town and fortress)

Rolled a new adv and went to the abandoned fortress gear up. There were both goblins and dwarves there, it seems a dwarven civ recently decided to settle in and reclaim it. Lots of dead dwarves inside. The twilight horror guy was there too, dead, arrived just in time to give his spouse the coup-de-grace.
I for one welcome the new dwarvish overlords.
