I think I actually need to get this character killed instead of retired, since I can't allow it to migrate to any of my forts.

but that's when you wall him off inside the caverns and start him hunting FBs.

I just met a Saiyan child. I asked about her family. She told me about her mother, Logos (which I think is a saiyan name), her older siblings Racress, Okoma, and Eppery (all saiyan names), and her father Rakust.

That's a dwarven name O_o

Thankfully, the dwarf in the room with her is named Ogon.

Logos is the lady of The Blowing Blazes, and, against my expectations, is not a vampire saiyan. Too bad.

I've been having troule finding game to kill, so I had to sell my loincloth for some cougar meat. 28☼ for 7 cuts of cougar meat. Terrible deal, but the cougars haven't exactly been ambushing me. I lost a companion swimming across a major river because the dumbass apparently didn't know how to swim. I absolutely must cross this river again at some point (All the river systems around here are confusing me, and virtually none of them have a bridge, especially major rivers. At this point, we need boats/ferries.)

I'm trying to reach a tower at the edge of the world, looking for the secrets of life and death, as well as those of basic elemental magic that I modded in. I didn't anticipate how difficult it would be to actually get there.

Now my biggest concern is this olm man 'warlord' who is threatening me through a floor grate outside the shop I bought the meat from. I want his head!

Well, before I can kick his ass I'll have to teach my companion how to swim.

my zombies are going rogue for some reason, must be because of the modding I made took from the spellbook thread and remade it to suit my needs.

and by that I mean they stop being companions at random, if not, I would have a huge zombie army by now.

That last adventure fell short due to total system failure. Took half an hour to convince my computer to restart.

So this time I made the msitake of pissing off a mummy. She is currently beating the tar out of me, and resurrected my companion's severed phallus, which is assisting her. Why the hell did I give phalli the grasp tag again? Beaten to death by undead dicks wasn't on my agenda, I'm pretty sure...

First adventurer in 34.02, cant find any companions in the clump of hamlets I started near, so I head south to the capital. It turns out to just be a fort, not a city, but i recruit some allies. We get ambushed by a bear and kill it.
Later we reach a river, and after I cross, a companion starts drowning. Dumbass should have told me he couldn't swim. Then a black bear walks up to me. I try to attack but he mangles my legs and knocks me back into the river. I swim back across to where my bowman ally is shooting at the bear. Im bleeding all over the place and i cant stand.
I half heartedly throw a rock at the bear, who eventually leaves. I get the loot from my drowned allies body and crawl back to the fort. Most of my wounds heal but I still can't stand up.

I crawl north looking for a place to buy crutches, past like 5 useless hamlets, to a # city.
Most of the people here are elves, and almost all of the shops are bonecarvers. Freaking elves everywhere, trying to sell me bracelets made from bones of animals i've never heard of, as I crawl through the streets, useless legs trailing in the mud.
I give up, recruit an elf bowman and leave. He drowns almost immediately.

Then I try to go to a dwarven city, but you cant travel through mountains. Apperently, not even if there is a road.

Then i accidentally waited for 24 hours and almost died of thirst.

Then i killed a bear in his cave by cutting his head off, so i guess i dont need crutches after all?

But seriously where can i find crutches?

Crutches are best found in random pile-of-crap loot, which you can find in lairs, tombs, castles, bandit hangouts in dungeons, and probably labyrinths and shrines.
Not that your chances of finding crutches when you actually need them are 1 in 1 million sites searched, so snag them the instant you spot one. :P

My adventurers went swimmingly, according to the necromancers in the tower. 3-4 got mauled by zombies, as well as 8-10 companions. I finally defeated them by getting the zombies themselves to follow me out behind the tower, throwing bolts and arrows at them, and beating the crap out of the necromancers and few remaining zombies. So that's three hours of my life gone just to become a necromancer.
I'm currently leading a horde of zombies on a rampage through a town.

my adventurer learned the secrets to life and death in a pretty epic way. first off, he was a legendary swrodsman and everything, so i was pretty confident he could fight the horde by himself, but he had a mummies curse and when it kicks in... zombie insta death, so i brought 15 companions. to get to the tower we had to travel a day ina half over evil terrain and only five of my compaions made it to the tower. once we are there, my companions get destroyed, but i singlehandedly clear the first room which only has one necromancer. the second room has three of them and two bookcases. One of the enecromancers was right inside the doorway, so i use my legedary ambush to choke him out, then the second one decides to see whats going on and moves to the same place... i choke him out too. there is one last necromancer and he is in the back, past teh horde of zombies... i wasn't going to kill him as easily, so instead i make a mad sneaky dash for the bookcases, sneaking right through teh zombie horde, i make it to the bookcase and start spamming "g". after grabbing about 7 books, "you've been spotted" the zombies move in... my legendary stats mean that none of them can hit me... for now (rememeber that mummies curse). I check my inventory and none of the books seem to be about death, so i pick up a book... zombie horde misses you... read it... zombie horde misses you... it is about the necromancer's friends and family who died... shit.... pick up another book... zombie horde misses... read it... YOU HAVE LEARNED THE SECRETS OF LIFE AND DEATH... the zombies wander back to their places... i made it!!!

My first guy on the new version wiped out a few bandit leaders and then, with a mighty army of three trusty sidekicks, decided to ransack a tomb. That's when I found out about mummies.

Things were going alright until one round of reanimation brought the mummy's freshly dismembered arm back to life, at which point it ripped my guy's foot off and I promptly got curbstomped by the horde of skeletons that the mummy had raised. So my eventual goal is to have another adventurer meet the animated remains of my first one, since the Legends Mode history tells me that he has indeed been raised by hte mummy that killed him.

Unfortunately my current dude is probably not going to be the one who does that. I thought I was doing well when I cleared the catabombs under a city's keep and wound up with maxed-out iron armor (most of it -Well- or +Finely+ crafted) and more gemstones than I knew what to do with... until I tried to do the same thing in another city's catacombs. I got zerg-rushed while crossing a large open room, so far I've passed out three times, and the only reason I'm not dead yet is because I'm so well-armoured they can barely damage me even while I'm KO'd. Unfortunately I'm so messed up by now that I can barely damage them even when I'm conscious, so it's likely to be a long fight.

RAAAHR! MANLY SUCCESS! After half an hour of a goddamn elf's axe bouncing off my armour and me flailing wildly at the air I've finally managed to chop one of the bugger's legs off. Now that he can't stand up either it's a much fairer fight, and it didn't take long to get his other leg off, and both his hands, and drive his skull into his brainpan. After that it doesn't take too much work to drag my ass into the next chamber, where it turns out the only other survivors are an axeman with his guts hanging out (mine) and a pair of vomiting bowmen (not mine). The bowmen must be in pretty bad shape, because I have no problem whaling on them despite the fact that I'm still very much in I've Fallen And I Can't Get Up mode.

Meanwhile it says nothing about whether I've finished this damn quest, so I have to follow the trail of blood, teeth, and the occasiona limb deeper into the catacombs to see if anyone else is still alive...

EDIT: Things aren't looking so good any more. It looks like the trail of gibs on an overlooking gallery were just thrown up there by the manly enthusiasm of the fight and aren't a trail left behind by anyone in particular, and while I was following that dud lead my axeman bled out. Turns out one of my own crossbowmen is still alive, but he seems intent on puking himself to death and I'm happy to leave him to it. It looks like I'm going to have to crawl all the way up to the surface again, find a crutch just in case this whole "not walking" thing turns out to be a permanent condition, round up some more hired help, and try again.

After going lake diving (turned out to be a lake, not a sea) which was very uneventfull, my vampire axelord legendary wrestler/ambusher/kicker/striker/swimmer is currently studying the effects a +iron pick+ has on local wildlife. The result is astonishing: more dismemberment than with an equal iron battleaxe at the same skill level. I actually have to resort to other means if I want enemies to pass out rather than bleed out.

i felt my army wasn't good enough so i killed all 214 of my zombies and shoved them into a backpack, now i can animate them on target and they will be devastating, i'm kinda wanting to test it on a dragon but i don't think that is a good idea only having 190 speed wile holding the bag wile my normal speed is around 1700 without it.

i'm most likely never going to use them, i prefer fighting alone and usually just use the zombies to distract some targets charging at me from behind, cus i'm good like that :3

also right now i'm heading into a random keep to drop my zombie bag off so i can move normally again. i will remember the location of the bag

300 human/elf/dwarf/goblin/kobold bodies 20 random animal/fish/bird bodies and 3 dragon bodies all in one backpack. fun stuff.

Why don't you just huck the bag at the dragon and reanimate them when it lands? Zombie grenade.

Thats the plan :P

Also, you better store it in a lair and remember the location, things in lairs dont rot (i think) and they stay there forever.
