I tried going one on one with a night monster in its own lair, got lucky hits in and decided to take the night out in it.

Only to find out that it has a husband...Sleeping so soundly, I find a knife right next to my face, next thing I know is just a cracking sound and then blackness.

My 241 years old hippie has already fourty seven notable kills in like, two months, she's by far my most sucessful adventurer.
What bugs me is the wounds in my hand, nothing serious but her ability to grasp is forever impaired and now she blinks with a yellow cross

Sounds like a cool story, keep it going and keep us posted.  I find it hilarious that you used a demon ( enough with the fricking clown censoring already, everyone knows about it ) tarantula and yet you
absolutely detest spiders.

An Ropeleader's journal, entry 1, time unknown because I don't care.
Against vultures, this whip proved to be quite ineffective. I head to the weapon store to try and sell the whip for a two handed blade, but apparently that wasn't enough. I head into the outside world, and find a rhino. I strangle the beast and try to slit it's throat, but all attempts fail. I attempted to sharpen a rock, even, but that proved to be ineffective too. I decide to strangle the creature afterwards, and it eventually suffocates. I butcher it and eventually sell some of the meat for the sword.

An Ropeleader's journal, entry 2, time unknown.
Me and my bowman companion are attacked by a lion, which is easily dealt with. We also get ambushed by wolves, which are easily dealt with also. We reach the kobold bandit camp at last. The bowman got wounded, but I managed to help him out. We did not see the leader, but it was possible he got away. While we were asleep, a night creature attacked us. I managed to bisect the creature. I heard the creature mutter it's name, apparently it was "Cish". This sort of stuff, and the kobold camp, made me pretty glad I escaped the underworld.

I took down a bandit Spearman, stripped him naked and went back to town to sell the items.
After selling everything, I look in my inventory to see that I have a pink Bronze Spear in my shoulder.
And it has damaged the upper arm nerves, so I dropped my shield.

How lucky! Free cash!

Killed a good 8-10 Moon beasts after killing the giant, eyeless hare of a Titan that wiped out my previous fortress. Several bandits and another moonbeast later I was struck down by aforementioned moonbeast. I was only super human in strength and agility. Still wondering how exactly I did that.

The Kicker is that once I started up a reclaim on the fortress, I passed into the Age of Legends where my adventurer was the dominate power in the world. Must have been a bug.

That's probably the best adventurer I'll ever produce.

An Ropeleader's journal, entry 3, time unknown.

I recruited a few peasants and got ambushed by wolves on my way to one of the two bandit camps.
The canines were easily dealt with. One of our bowmen was shot and killed, and I swore to avenge his death. An arrow struck me from behind and apparently hit my lung. Those fools come back for revenge. The peasant allies get wounded a bit, but we were victorious. We head into a shrine we were told about, and it is inhabited by a cycloptic mockingbird with a trunk and poisonous bite. It's time I fight something my size. I slice it's head off while it's atacking my remaining peasant ally. That was anticlimactic. I butcher the titan and take it's meat, I'm sure I could make some great profit.

Me and my peasant buddies approached a bandit camp to take out a spearman. The spearman turned out to be a Sylvan Elf, with a wooden spear. I laughed at how little chance he had to survive us.

...He promptly proceeded to rip apart three of my four peasants in about 8 turns. Then he stabbed me in the foot, causing my character to crawl with no option to stand up. As he had an epic battle with my last peasant buddy, I crawled away like a coward. Never underestimate an elf.

On a side note, as I crawled away a Demon of Pain Wrestler attacked me and I got my first hit since I'd been knocked onto the floor, spilling his guts and causing him to crawl away pitifully just like I was, which had a poetic ring to it. Heh. At least my guy is still alive, and planning revenge.

@jaxy15: Again, seriously, thanks. ^^ I tried it out and I love this slate gray monster. Her sting is so ridiculously deadly, it's not even fair. I'm just running around dual-wielding iron shields and stinging everything in the legs to sever it instantly, then a couple of stings to the head to finish them off. :3

Edit: Gorbe Quietroared the Menace-Hood of Whispers has 13 notable kills; 12 bandits and a moon monster. A great iguana twisted into humanoid form with external ribs. It appears to be emaciated. Its slate gray scales are small and set far apart. Beware its poisonous sting!

...Oh yeah. Beware that. :3

Second Edit: And, uh, yeah. Biting someone's entire left arm off, then spitting it so hard that the fist caves their skull in and kills them instantly is epic. Man, I forgot how much fun it was to play as something big and powerful like a colossus.

'What's going on in my adventure' is testing out all the demons and the bronze colossus as playable races. IT IS SO MUCH FUN. Especially the colossus. After much-loved adventurers being owned by minor creatures, having an unstopabble giant of awesome is just so much fun. Also, stingers!
