Me and my group of seven had just left the tundra after slaying a named wolf, a night creature consort, and a troglodyte. I'm on the outskirts of a town when I realize we're all drowsy. I tell them to sleep eight hours. The sun goes down and we wake up, I decide we're sleeping till dawn now. I wake up before dawn, surrounded by bogeymen, and my party is nowhere to be seen. I tore into the town to find my party had moved over and left me in the field, bastards.
Update:
I then went to kill a crossbowman. My party and I charge him... and I get shot right through my rib knocking me out instantly. After I woke up all the bandits were dead. How can 6 scantily clad people take out an entire heavily armored bandit camp? This adventure is giving me some things I've never seen before.
Update2:
We napped on our way to a historical figure for a quest when we were ambushed by humans in our sleep. The weird part came when the human ambushers were ambushed by badgermen. No joke. Badgermen are attacking our ambushers. I'm so confused now.
Update3:
How the?!? We won. We lost one of our number but we won. We were outnumbered and outclassed but we still won. What is happening!??
At least I have actual armor now though.
Update4:
We are back up to 7, with a new pikeman (I put the dead Bosa in his place, no one will notice). The lord has tasked me to kill a groaning ogre. I don't know what that is but I'd been planning to kill it before he told me to, now I just feel slighted.
Update5:
And I'm setting out for the groaning ogre again after the game froze.
And once more I have an anit-climatic battle, but this time someone's actually ruffed up. Doesn't matter though because I don't care about peasants.
Update6:
I'm standing outside my very first maze on a mission to kill a minotaur after having killed a hag. I've never encountered a minotaur in adventure or a maze before. We shall spill Blood for the Blood God!
Update6:
I was roaming around a bit and when I came back to the staircase my axeman and peasant were already fighting the Minotaur! I maneuvered around them and heaved my sword towards it's head. I cleaved right through it's neck and it's head sailed in an arc. It was satisfying, unlike my recent fights with night creatures.
Update7:
I've just been tasked to slay a hill titan. This adventurer has many a first for me.
Update8:
The shrine seemed abandoned, with moss growing here and there. Despite that the dolomite shrine was glorious. That's when we saw it. It was enormous and made of what seemed to be snow. It tails swished and it swayed about, until it spotted us. It charged! I swung at it's leg taking it off. The others rushed to my aid, but it was too late. I'd decapitated the beast. There shall be no more kill steals while I live.
