Starting a new swordsman adventure. I will update this post as the adventure progresses.
EDIT: Adventure over.
The adventure of Kad Pikaslu has begun. The locals have been having trouble with a particular outlaw, called "Sath lullsand". I have taken upon myself to dispose of this person.
However, i need help. I am one man. Not nearly enough to travel the wilds. I will seek the location of the nearest fortress, and recruit some warriors for my cause.
The nearest fortress was not much of a trek. A short walk east from my village. Finding the front gate was a bit of a struggle, as i walked around the fortress the wrong way. But, i entered the strangely small doorways, in search of warriors. Unusually, there were no warriors to be found, and the law-giver of the place was not willing to explain where they were. I assumed they were out on a seige, so i slept for a day to see if they return.
Apparently not. The warriors of this fortress have either died on the attack, or died a long time ago. Strange how one person decided to claim this fortress. I did not have anything else left here, so i went in search of another fortress.
Goblin attack! On the way back to my village, a seemingly single goblin decided i should not live. We will see about that.
He had the element of surprise, but missed the first strike. He seems unarmoured, and so, a quick strike to the neck should suffice. However, he is making it really difficult to reach it. Instead, i shall disarm him, until i get a clean hit.
Ouch. I hate lashers. His first hit bruised my lung. However, i have managed to tear a lot of muscle, and he ran away. Speedy fella, he got away, and called an axeman to help. He immediately went for me, but i managed to disable his axe arm. They both retreated, and i could not keep up with them. I found an axe on the floor, so he must be in a lot of pain. However, so am i. My lung is bruised, and causing a few minor breathing problems. Ill survive for now.
I have managed to get back to my town. My lung seems to have healed, as i am no longer in pain, but i have come back with nothing. I shall set out for another fortress, or i will die in the next few days.
Following the villages on the road, i have come across another nearby fortress. I do not have time to get there right now, so i will sleep in this large town for now.
I have reached the nearby fortress, but this too, is completely void of life. It looks like someone doesnt want me to get my hands on an army. And he is winning. However, he shall not win. I shall go on, until my bones are dust.
On exiting the fortress, i literately bumped into a large group of camels. They did not like me, and started attacking me. The cowards ran off in the first hit. Not like it matters, as i did not want to get any unneeded injuries.
, i have stumbled across a cavern. My explorer instincts are tingling, and i set off, down into the unknown.
Seems giant earthworms live down here. The fight was basically me swinging at it, and scratching it. I tried to kick it in the mouth, but it jumped away. Jumped! How can worms jump? The mouth seems to also be the head. A quick strike with my sheild took it down. Now a rhesus macaque seems to be taking its chances. He didnt last long. slash at the skin, caused him to fall over in pain, then a chop to the head took him out.
Ack! Another worm. Maybe i should not be down here. I pulled out the silver battleaxe i got from the goblin. I had an idea, and it is bound to fail. I threw it at the worm, but the handle hit him instead. No worries, it doesnt seem like they are a tough beast to kill.
I retrieved my axe, and started hacking at the beasts skin. It seems it is useless, so i threw it at him. It only managed to tear the skin. After a few swipes at him, he ran away. Anticlimactic, but it works.
Agh, another worm. I am leaving this place. It isnt safe.
Nature hates me. As i climbed to the surface, a horse ripped off my foot, and tore my lung. I desperately tried to escape, but it was in vain. Shortly after, i suffocated and died.
That was the tale of Kad Pikaslu
