Wouldn't going to fast travel and then moving also fix the getting stuck part? Being prone in a tree doesn't prevent you from going to fast travel.

after my fort was overrun by demons i decided to start adventuring, have a human lasher with good knowledge of dodging, armor and shield, hope it survives, trying to destroy a gang of goblins that are raiding a hamlet

Testing my mods again, I wandered into a town to talk to the local rulers. On my way there, I was ambushed in the streets by a veritable army of cultists. I know not whose cult it is, because none of them will talk to me. Thankfully, 90% of them or something were untrained recruits, and after beating the crap out of 6-8 of them the rest decided to flee. I tried going into the buildings on either side of the street only to find more cultists. And more. And more... They were all in no-quarter combat with me yet made no moves against me until I talked to them, at which point they ran away.

But hey, I got out of a lethal engagement without killing anyone, so at least that mechanic works!

been trying to get rid of a bandit camp in one save, but everytime i get into the thing i get killed by a "winged hag" damned undeads. time to save another town elsewhere....

 Created a murderous adventurer, with one-hundred sixty five kills on his hands. Most of them were decapitations, actually, all of them were. He started his murderous adventure in a small hamlet, killing twenty-something people there. He proceded to kill the lord at the mead hall. He succedded, but with one cost: He lost his ability to stand. Pissed off, he managed to murder almost everyone on the village, disabling some people, such as  making them blind, breaking their spine and even chopping all their limbs with his bloody copper battle axe. He was unstoppable, every attempt to kill him resulted into decapitation and death (O rly?). He managed to go to a city. This time, Nelti, the Intense Lyrics means business. While on his daily killings, Nelti, attacking a priest, noticed something on him: Dwarf bone ring and elf bone bracelet.
 Great, a vampire! (BTW, i created the world with only one vampire curse!) He killed the vampire with certain ease and drank his corrupted blood. Now, he was even more powerful! He managed to get inside the town's castle and murder everyone inside, claiming the site for himself, creating the Fellowship of Breathing: The group of one man. He then murdered humans, murdered dwarfs, murdered an entire market, some gobbos and a few turkeys. He eventually got bored and retired.

 No, it's not over. I created another adventurer, with intent to kill Nelti. He got inside the castle with his companions: A crossbowman and a pikeman. What could go wrong? He can't even stand! He was inside the castle, scratching his balls, doing nothing. I accused him of being a night creature! My pikeman was the first to attack him, the first to succumb too! He got his guts spilled and his throat cut open. As we fought, i noticed something particulary strange...he was saying his killing names, feeling sorry for them and "a little angry" about it. There was tears at his eyes...he wasn't a murderer...

 I then chopped down his head, drank his blood and started all over.

!!!!!FUÑ!!!!!!!

Also, did i mention that during his killings, Nelti got his hands on a steel battle axe with a dwarven woodcutter?

I've never run into any cultist whatever, like ever. No idea how worldgen is supposed to generate them. They're supposed to be around, but I've never seen them.

Anyways, I'm doing sasquatch hunting while I wait for the next full moon to come around. This worldgen has a BIG problem with sasquatches, lots and lots of them and their lairs. Theres a big concentration of them in the forest area where I am atm.

I've also noticed lots of historical animals with lairs. Worldgen doesn't seem to be killing them off as much as usual.

everything seems alright with a human swordman, was able to get rid of a bandit attack in a town and recovered some past adventure stuff (a bronze whip and some essentials). it seems for now i will have to kill bandits as i dont seem to get enough money or equipment

As an update (though it's now long past that), I did encounter the werebadger that I was looking for, but wasn't able to get it to bite me and seemed more fixated on one or another of my companions. Also, despite biting one of my companions a number of times and another companion at least once, they didn't get cursed. Theres a weremonitorlizard and a werechameleon on the other side of the map that could work.

I'm not sure if the werechameleon is the googly eyed and tougne shooting type or the anole type chameleon.

Become a weremonitorlizard. A googly eyed were beast just isnt cool enough...

Also, get your companions to give up their clothes, and remove your own. That way when they get bit the skin will probably be broken. Might want to ask them to wait outside, and engage the were beast near the exit but not visible to them until you get bit. Get all of them bit. Were beast army!

Well dang, the weremonitorlizard died before it could land a bite on me, and I killed the werechameleion. Me and my team dropped out of fast travel right next to it, so, I wouldn't have been able to get them to stop anyway.

The other options are:

werecavy: Meh

Wererat: As much as roleplaying Splinter of TMNT would be fun, no thanks.

Werecamel: meh, maybe as a last choice

Werewarthog: Bonus of tusks. One of the two that have this doesn't actually have a lair for some reason.

Weregecko: Do these have teeth?

Werebeaver: If I actually had the ability to chew through trees as a werebeaver, that would be cool, otherwise no.

Weregilamonster: This would certainly be cool, however, it's venomous and so, I'd have to survive the venom first.

Werelizard: Not sure how powerful that would be.

really? No to the werecavy?? Other than the wererat because rats are the coolest of all animals, the werecavy would be tops.

Anyway, if not werecavy then wererat and stalk around the sewers, creeping up when you transform to slaughter people.

If also no, brave the weregilamonster, anything worth having is worth fighting for (possibly to the death)

There isn't anything particularily special or strong about cavys, that's all.

I could go weregilamonster, yeah, just not so sure on it's venom.

The people standing around in the market didn't give a fuck that the only potential customer they would see all week was being devoured by a wild animal before their very eyes. Never did find the temple.

considering that night creatures can apply for ownership of stores, they know their in a fantasy world.

After driving myself ever so slightly mad trying to jump onto trees and somehow ending up in a totally different section of land, I finally learned how to climb trees. Unfortunately, tree houses are apparently not safe from Bogeymen. The peasant residing in said house in being pummeled while I climbed back to ground and am dodging for my life against three of the little monsters.

But I still have zero clue what those two sections of map are on the right side when I'm wandering about.
