Third adventurer today, starting to get the hang of things...

My quest is to kill a vampire in the sewers. Okay! Three floor grates later, I see him. He's stuck to a wall and wholly inaccessible. Welp. I can see why he's a feared enemy of civilization.

Then I went to the river to try and get in (I didn't yet know that sewers have zero airspace). A goblin overlord jumps out of the sewers at me... and drowns. What?! A pair of cave fish men also pop out, so my companions flail around in the water and kill one before drowning. Then I begin hammering the shit out of the second one and it summarily dies. Aww yeah. Now I can go try recruiting some better companions after selling their stuff.

I started in a little country land locked between mountains. A leader of the country insulted me, so I came up with a plan to enter every fortress in the night, and disfigure or disable the leader of the fort. One down, five to go. I think I might collect the ears of each leader.

I used live bats a thrips as ammo against a giant olm, so probably.

I attacked a town with my overpowered adventure creature, a colossus made from steel with tons of fun interactions, like turning things into ducks.
In the end, the body count was about 160.

I am having a savage battle with a hippo. It has lasted most of a day, and been a pretty even exchange. This grand creature will be my proudest kill, but will still not be 'notable' by DF's standards.

Amazing. I have dueled with the creature.I have lost my sword, shield, and dagger. I don't know how I am to butcher him, but I am fighting him with nothing but my trusty mackerel, Migrurtharnus. I have immobilized him, but my fish can only deliver so much damage to each part of the foul beast. We are fighting in the middle of a field of teeth, blood and vomit. I don't know how to kill him.
