I decided to try and take on a necromancer tower by myself.  I arrived at the tower while sneaking and began sniping the zombies with a few pages of rocks, then I would grab the corpses and throw them into a nearby canyon.  This was going well until I pressed the wrong movement key and ended up running right into a zombie, which then spotted me.
The blob of zombies began to swarm me, but I had a really high dodge and watched as the adventurer rolled across the landscape until he dodged into a pool, sustaining zero injuries. This wasn't a problem for me since, I had competent swimming skill.  It was then that I realized that you could throw across z-levels.  I began sniping the zombies that waited at the edge of the pool.
I began to think that I would be able to wipe out the entire tower with out even taking an injury, except for one little detail that I didn't think of.

I wiped out a flock of carps.



Except I got mauled, it was a metalworker human that did it. 12 carps, not a single injury. A newbie killed more carps then a legendary everything dwarf.

Hehehehe that's quite the way to win a fight.

I can see the necromancers just standing at the door to the tower laughing at it all.

I was struck down by some goblins.

Apparently I was a hero of theirs until I was attacked by a Twilight Man family: two titled males, a Bride of the Twilight Man, and a Twilight Child. They ripped my companions to shreds (a lasher, two crossbowman and an elven bowman) and I fought off all four alone, with a torn foot. Got out, got back to town, and the instant I left town with new recruits, the Nightmare of Liberating ambushed me and shot my new companions to bits, and I killed three before passing out and dying.

I got into a fight with two Bloated horrors, barley got away, my dude is crippled and cannot hold a weapon...
My 3 companions were able to hold them off as I ran for it, then I try to head back to town and was ambushed by bandits.
2 out of 3 of my companions died, I got away with a survivor. Got to town; retired and my dude will be a cripple for the rest of his life.

I discovered the whole

Attack spills the guts > wrestle with free hand > grab the guts > pinch the guts > guts fly off in an arc > pick up guts > strangle foe to death with guts

thing. It's fantastic.

I'm still trying to do this... tips?

A minor occurrence, but as I stepped out of the catacombs, I saw two massive piles of cats. 15 cats in one single tile, and 20 cats in another across the catacomb's main outdoor room. (They were on one of those one-tile why ledges.) I wonder what they were all doing together like that...
Edit: I think they're in a massive head-butting bout.
Edit 2: I think they try to path into the catacombs, but the doors are actually non-pet passible and they accumulate (they almost trapped me in there, as I couldn't pass them). Or maybe they are mourning for their dead owners?

Im trying to kill off my guy epic like so i can say that was cool but i ended up killing three Giant desert scorpions with my bare hands, then i tried drowning him he is now a great swimmer, next i will fall of a large building but i might just look for a necromancers tower and kill my way to the top. P.S. Im RPing a insane guy that lost his friends and now wants the world to suffer.

Repeatedly jump off the necromancer's tower, using a smaller parachute each time, until you become a legendary faller and don't need a parachute.

EPL ambush my men and straight up murder me and reanimated my dead body. though she was taken down by her mother. Sadly my masterwork's mod doesn't make every one have access to reading skill. so I couldn't learn any secrets from the remaining companions (elves all the dwarves in the group died to either wild life or drowning). I ended up returning to the fort as a elven queen stopping to pick up 95 recruits from a local elven camp and a slab that has no real use until I get someone with reading skill. the slab is finally built in the main hall for all to see and readlook at. The elven queen who risk her life to find her daughter is now hanging out on top of the fort with her elf army.

From the adventurer's perspective you've got a retinue of companions which eat your enemies and don't get themselves killed fighting wildlife.

He cheats judiciously uses DFhack/DFusion to accomplish the impossible, and never offers clear, understandable directions on how to do it. It took me a week to figure out how to operate DFusion in 31.25, and then it just crashes all the time.
