I've had a realization which I came to while beating a child to death. I don't think I want to play as a necromancer any more. So I dropped all my items and let the villagers stab me to death, and then got up that night and quietly left town. (read: let them kill me, then savescummed back to before I became a necromancer)

I just bit an entire kobold's arm off. And it got stuck in my teeth.

A side note: My lasher is MiA.  As far as I can tell the caves go on... but I could see no actual ramp down there.  The only way to continue would be to jump and not be able to get back.  I saw a freshly slain kobold down there so it's quite possible my Lasher accidentally jumped down there and is still there happily slaying kobolds to this day.

I'm getting a different issue at the moment, though.  I've been directed to "Crowdedhells", a dark fortress, to kill a particular goblin.  However... there doesn't seem to be anything here.  No goblins, no building.  Are dark fortresses hidden in some way?

I don't think they exist.

Wander around and they'll probably attack you eventually.

Not even close, the highest I've seen was over 5000. Vampires tend to have ridiculous amounts of kills.

The kobold stonecrafter punches you in the upper front teeth from behind with his right hand and the severed part sails off in an arc!

At least I have a memento from this venture.  I wish I could make these teeth into a necklace.

You can't reanimate teeth.

You can't reanimate teeth.

He can use them as improvized projectiles though.

I saw a wild rooster so I killed it so I could have some meat for later on... then about 20 roosters and dogs started attacking, then towns people, finally dying by a one shot bite to the head.

Quite. In my current world, I had to travel across the WHOLE. EFFING. WORLD. THREE TIMES! Just to get to necromancer towers with like 50 necromancers in them and no slabs at all! Thank whichever diety invented it for vampirism.

Look for books with titles related to death. They'll turn you into a necromancer just as well as a slab.
