Killed 36 humans including a lasher and a spearman and took their armor. Proceed to have eyes pecked out by bogeymen.

adventurers 11 and 12 were both downed by bandits.  12 could not even hit the non-elite swordsman he was fighting.  my standard build has become all attributes in agility, spacial sense and kinethetic sense.  expert dodge, competent shield and weapon, competent reader (if i could ever find a book) and what ever is leftover in swimming and observer.

to be honest, it does not seem to make a difference, i seem to get killed just as fast as if i didnt even bother putting any skills or stats anywhere.

i think i'll play something else for a while, i'm getting tired of increasing random bandits' reputation, rather than my own.

ctrl+alt+deleted 3 bandit camps, a demon, and a vampire.

Got ambushed, killed them all, died of crossbow induced blood loss, which isn't even fair cause we still can't patch our own wounds.

I go to my first necromancer tower, hoping to acquire the ability of necromancy. A zombie walks out. "Okay, it's just a dwarf corpse." I kill it, and then proceed to enter the building. Bad idea. There were at least fifteen zombies on the first floor alone. I decided to trick them into following me and leaving the building so I can enter in peace. Another bad idea. (i r best adventur playr evar!1!) I fail to see the zombies on the second floor, and get cornered with no hope of survival.

I start a stealthy adventurer called 'Snake' Silentfondle. He sneaks into the catacombs below the town just after spawn, and finds a tonne of good armor/weps/coins.

Then, a human ranger who's injured comes running to me. Is he injured from something? Nope? Can't speak to him. Examine.

Human ranger mummy.

Oh crap. I've been spotted.

'Who dares invade my house?'
The mummy gestures.
The mummy curses you.
You feel horrible.
then the game freezes as thirty human skeletons get up and all try to wrestle me at once.

I started in a small hamlet as a human hammerman with my attribute and skill points spent mainly on agility, shield user and dodger.
First thing to do was to wander into the wild and strangle the living shit out of a Honey badger with my lower left leg, accompanied with smashing all the bones in his limbs with an iron hammer till he passed out from pain. Then I decided that I have done enough of heroic deeds for a day and so I went to sleep in a forest nearby. To ensure security I rounded myself with campfires so that there was only one tile that may let intruders get slaughtered. The night was young when I laid my head on the warm from the fire, ground and closed my eyes in sweet dreams about treasures and vampires.
By the end of the night my campsite reminded of a horror movie — about 60 mutilated dingo corpses, part of them butchered and eaten, a gang of dead goblins many of which have been smothered with different parts of my body. The gang leader was unconsious from strangulation when I tore off his tongue which led to him bleeding to death. Blood was everywhere and there was I, standing among this terror with mouthful of dingo's tails and goblin's body parts. Fame and wealth are waiting for me!

Did my first vamp adventurer... I have never had so much fun in DF!

After rolling and axedwarf and contracting vampism i killed a few peasants and a dorf wearing full artifact cloth. If im not going to be protected (dorf armor is in alarmingly sort supply), at least i will look classy. I then headed into the nearest city. I snuck in during the night and only encountered a few peasant children who made a tasty appitiser. I then strolled into the local keep and munched down the local gentry. Thought i would check the dungeon for some metal armor and ended up getting one of my legs and arms broken by a bandit warlord. After i had dispatched the bandits i tried to rest a wile and heal my wounds... You cannot rest until you leave this site... damn. So i drug myself out of the keep, it was daytime and i was relieved when i didn't burst into flames when i stepped thru the door. I opened the front castle gate into the bustling city marketplace. Skilled Ambusher was not enough to stop the 100 or so merchants from seeing me... I immediately ran back into the castle and proceeded to commit the most horrific massacre i have ever seen. Wave after wave of merchants attacked and where quickly struck down by my mighty axe. their boning knives became an endless arsenal of thrown death. and i perfected the art of vamp takedowns...

strangle -> bite throat -> shake -> feed until they die of blood-loss

Started yet another new adventurer.  Getting tired of humans that think silver swords are going to cut it.  Found out that attributes can be lowered now, so immediately turned useless stuff like Musicality and Empathy into dump stats.  (Empathy?  I'm here to kill shit, not feel its pain.)

Luckily this time I started out in the town where my last guy died.  This place has an open air market right in front of a keep, and there's several abandoned shops and homes with lots of bags bursting with food stacks of about 100, so there's plenty to eat.  Also grabbed a barrel to fill up with water, going to grab another barrel and fill that sucker with food.

In the cellar of the keep there was tons and tons of sweet loot -- and a nice pack of bandits or something that ambushed and killed my last guy.  I'm going to go down there, fill up on gear and get my revenge.  First though I'm going to do some combat training.  I stepped outside town to look for some animals to torment, when a pair of elves jumped me.  After lighting a tree on fire to show them what I thought of that, I proceeded to kick the crap out of them.  Then I saw a herd of wild boars.  I spotted one that was "gigantic but not very muscular", so now it's pig wrestling time.  And if it decides to fight to the death?  Bacon!

Very promising swordman/tooth thrower/strangler (yes... when possible, this guy throws teeth at people until they get knocked out, then he strangles them to death...) decided to explore a dungeon.

Literally about an hour later, lost in the world's laggiest sewer/dungeon, he steps on a trap and takes a bronze bolt to the head, through a masterwork iron helm. Farewell; the dentists of the world salute you...

Got killed by bogeymen.
I was traveling to a village in the north, but it turned out to be more then a day, and my companions died, so i got attacked by bogeymen, i kept running north but one of them got a lucky shot in my head.
so i died.
Now im looking how i can make a bronze-collosus adventurer that can spit fire.

So a bit ago someone posted how necromancers can't improve their attributes after becoming immortal, but that does not seem to be the case at all, thankfully.

Lost the ability to grasp about 3 something times now, fast travel, regain. Guess the game knows it's badass to have an iron long sword in one hand and a silver mace in the other.
