I killed that Dragon, and later killed a roc. I have just been killed by a human ambush, who seemed to be attacking me in my sleep, and then left me to kill the others, while i was still alive. Once i came back though, i was then attacked by everything i saw. These guys hated me.

I just started looking around in the legends, and went past a whole ton of "Legendary hero" statuses. Never lived long enough to get known that well.

Anyway, i saw the roc, but the dragon was not in the kill list.

I looked up the dragon in the history, and it was actually killed by my companion! Bah! They just sat there stabbing at the feet the whole time, while i was too busy doing DAMAGE.

Well, that was the best i got in DF Adventure.

A couple days ago, i made an elf called Cacame.

And guess what? LEGENDARY SWORDSMAN ELF.

I FOUGHT SO MANY NIGHT CREATURES....And since he's an elf, he'll never die.

I hope to strike a curious structure on this world to give my most successful adventurer EVER...

The legendary Adamantine Shortsword [or longsword]. I'm also hoping to strike adamantine for a shield.

Just started a new adventurer. Went off into the wilds with random cannon fodder to go hunt a bandit.

Tore through his camp easily enough, but the boss himself was a master spearman. I stood back throwing rocks for a few rounds till he started carving up my meatshields. Then I go in to go for a rescue only to have him relentlessly stab, impale, punch, kick, and eventually BITE my companion swordsman to death before I manage to bring him down.

This is all while I am chopping off limbs as fast as I can and going for the occasional opportunity strike.

All I can say is its a good thing I had the companion, cuz I wouldn't want that to have happened to me.

Christ, are you dwarves or are you elves? If you think Hell has too many demons, then youkill them till the population reaches an acceptable number.
Dwarf Fortress: So horrifying the players would rather talk about nice things, like Warhammer 40k.

BLEEEEEEEEEEP
hmm I wonder if the server operator would allow DFmode?

He may, but he doesn't use it or have dfhack apparently. Wouldn't even use dflair for us...

Now, for everyone that asked when I abandoned thread, the way the multiplayer works is this: We all join the steam chat group, and download his custom dfterm client to access and play a game he runs on his own computer. It's singleplayer df being played one-at-a-time in quick succession, the server just displays his df game and lets you send commands over the internet, but it's not true multiplayer. If you wanted to do that and dont want to have to train/convince him to do it, you'd best get dfterm, ask him about operating it, and run your own server, because I don't think he'd let you hack his computer to run "your crazy veteran-player programs", because he apparently hasn't gotten into that yet.

Wasn't even on the server today, but I did enjoy slaughtering some things in adventure mode and fiddling with all my various modifications. I still havent gotten around to updating my Evil Civs mod, but that's because nobody has really given me ANY feedback besides make carp men, and I did. Now I'm bored.

Apparently dueling with a hydra is nothing like dueling with dragons. Dragons are easy after you deal with their fire, hydras are just deadly. I walked in and attacked it with my twin bronze long swords (one had over 200 kills and was studded with dragon bone). I swing and I tear a scale, okay I can deal with that. It charges and knocks me down, I'm a high master dodger and have 1900 speed. I stab it in the guts and foot. It tears my leg off through my bronze greaves and high boot. Then I'm torn apart and my head is bitten off.
Moral: You can duel with dragons and you can duel with titans, but don't even watch a hydra without backup.

Hm, have you considered murder?  It's either that or letting it go.

I declared war on another civ. I picked up a wrestler buddy and killed a maceman. I moved in to kill the enemy civ's leader but was later killed by a swordsman.

Ok, my legendary Axedwarf has a quest to kill a minotaur. I can't go down the stairs, and there's a hill right next to the stairs on the Z-level below.

Ok, that sucks..Did i mention that if i don't do this quest i won't be able to take another quest from the lord of this civ ever again?

Sounds like it's time to resort to Plan B:
Kill the Civ leader.

No-one in my world has a capital. No-one has any quests to give. There are skeletal minotaurs, and kleptomaniac Rocs. Kobolds are breeding like rabbits and volcano roofs are collapsing onto Adventurers. This is a very silly place.

I am currently playing as a naked human outsider who stabs people in the eye with his steel knork. And when i say knork, i mean with an audible K along with this, not a male genital.

I don't know about that, but they sure are a pain to kill. I've had a hydra with spears embedded in EVERY ONE OF IT'S HEADS... it still tore me to pieces, and just would not die.

My best adventurer yet and He's barely done anything

Irka Standdangers The Fruity Sorcerer Of Organs A human Hero

Started as normal and did Two basic quests  to kill Night Hag X and Y, then Irka was given a Quest to
Kill a bandit crossbowman, So  after recruiting some meat sheilds Peasants  Irka set off to the hill this Bandit had his camp

Upon Arriving it turned out to be a Mega-camp  with ~60 mixed elf / humans  Sure to be doomed I thought whatever and just kept fighting, By some kind of miracle  Irka Lived.

Then Upon ascending the Hill  ( still hadnt seen the Bandit leader yet ) I was met by the bandit leader and 15 Crossbows / bows  charging towards them on his own Irka dodged them all and killed  every last one.

On my way out lopped the heads off a few wounded and picked up various loot, Irka now had 58 Kills A ton of  coin and was now known as the "fruity sorcerer of organs"  Not bad for his third quest.
