Did some mod testing, shoved my mods and spellcraft into a game, used DFhack to give myself uber adventurer, was a giant desert scorpion man (I re added them), turns out there are... several minor problems I didn't anticipate 1. Giant desert scorpion men are too large for even human armor 2. They can't jump and 3. They can't swim.... so that went well

EDIT: Also, this As far as I can tell, it was a perfectly normal lion otherwise

Glad to report that I had a backup weapon and he still couldn't touch my dodge so Acras Bowashes the Star of Secrets lived on to fight another day.

scourge728: Try adding adventurecraft too, that way you can craft armor for yourself whatever size you are.  It coexists with spellcraft just fine.

Randomly browsing legends. I found a lady whose mother, husband, and three children were all eaten by giant leopards within the last three years. I wasn't planning on playing adventure mode in this world, but now I know what I must do.

I will serve her. I will avenge her. This will not happen again.

an update on the demon fort project, uhh found a dwarf with a liking for Rattlesnakepeople might be able to grab a snake adventurer and move one to a fort.
otherwise kinda been pondering if there a way to get a companion to Join a fort through vanillaish means or just start working on a different advmode needed project.

I killed all the giant cougars that killed my lady's family. Right now I'm retrieving a goblet for her, killing anyone in my way. I've managed to get a companion, a dwarf carrying three artifact weapons. He's also an heir to a huge family that has a claim on hundreds of artifacts. We're going artifact hunting!

I've also found a temple with a tomb containing steel gear that fits humans. I'm going to try to kill the mummy without getting cursed.

EDIT: My companion was cursed, had his heart punched in, and still killed the mummy before I could even get near. He will be missed.

Well ended the experiment with a "crashing failure" it seem the type of demon race I nab didn't take kindly to childbirth and crashes the game.
oh well ended the fort with the goblin adventurer getting an artifact made of them out of brimstone of the time she 'stole' a slab the dwarves stole from the angels. oh and 2 sons of different fathers one a god, and a daughter from the dwarven husband I married her too. probably going to set up some other test/projects that a tad less waiting for units to socialize.

In 0.44, dwarven fortresses have mead hall-like chambers containing gear for dwarves. I have checked every single one I've come across, and it has finally paid off. I have obtained a minecart. There's no way this could possibly go wrong!
