Diesel and The Rock (I refuse to call him Dwayne Johnson.  I don't watch Wrestling, because I'm middle-class and not an eight year old, but he'll always be The Rock to me) are too busy making feel good comedies where they babysit kids.

So no Ice Cube then either.  Still doesn't explain why there's no Bruce Willis or Sam Motherfucking Jackson.  Heck, I'll take a Mel Gibson, he needs the cred.

Considering the cast they already have and all the requisite explosions for a good action movie, they probably ran out of money to hire anyone else.

By they, you mean Sylvester Stallone? Nah. My guess is that Gibson was busy directing his own film, Willis was busy with Cop Out, and the others may simply not have been asked, or refused the parts offered.

Also possible. But seriously, look at that cast, three-quarters of the film's budget is going to have to go into paying that cast.

Isn't Schwarzenegger still in his seat as governor? How did they get him to do this film?

Also: A production company has more money than Sylvester Stallone does. Therefore, the budget is not magically larger because he is at the helm.
