Best way to not be griefed is to run a private server, instead of letting it show up on the main listings. And to build with an eye to preventing griefability (hidden sponges wrapped in adminium to stop flooding and whatnot). Hacks just mean that it's easier to build more impressive things, and usually to repair any damage done.

why didn't i think of the privateness? hax on, rules available (though their kinda pointless now, but you can look if you seriously want to) just wait a second while I reboot the server w/hax. ready!

I didn't just kill Aklyon's server with /levels did I?
Java crashed quite hard, and refused to startup until I rebooted. Now I'm getting "cannot find server" errors.

no you didn't, it was just you. you came, you left, the server has not death. Its just you. it doesn't seem to like /levels.
Recap: the three levels are main, Underwater, and Dwarven. you start in main.

someone made an Awesome self-rebuilding castle in the Underwater map. /goto Underwater, then hold space to get to the water's surface and look for a black castle w/wood door. then try removing 1 block.
