Nah, the new version of DF has not been combined with the stuff from the 40d# releases yet so is slower then the last releases vanilla because of new stuff.

Well, I can't connect to Nome's server, so I set up my own.
Can't guarantee reliability, but it works and the ports are forwarded. I'm using Kael's rule: Don't be a dick. hax are disabled except for ops/admin (unless you guys MUST have them on)

3 maps, main is flat, Underwater is, well, underwater, and Dwarven is for DF in Minecraft. lots of mountains, wagon at spawn point, mountain dented with the very beginnings of a fortress.

You mean flight. Noclip doesn't actually work in the current multiplayer version (although, if I remember correctly, it does work in single player creative).

I think servers can be configured to kick people doing impossible things. Don't know though.

i can remove -hax. I just thought it was a good idea.
