Yeah, but that doesn't stop the admins from breaking it. I can make a few skylights if someone wants them. If Kael doesn't like them I'd have to close them, though.

Also, Kael, how did you get the game to appear so big? Is there some fullscreen option, or a little client to download so I can play it outside the web browser?

Sorry for the downtime, another java exception. Seems to be the main problem with the server - no idea what causes it. Server is fine, it isn't held together by chewing gum or ductape (well, that may be a lie since I built it  )

I was hoping it didn't need to be said but obviously don't travel around taking random chunks out of people's projects or adding random blocks anywhere. I noticed it today on the shoop da woop. If I see it happening I will insta-ban as there's really no excuse for it, it's just mindless griefing. And feel free to report (Here in thread or PM me) if you notice it or have your suspicions.

That's what happens when more and more people join I suppose. You guys on the whole have been way more fun and great to play with than general minecraft players.

Also, I don't mind skylights. Build whatever you want within reason, like not swallowing up other people's projects or giant snapshots from 2girls1cup.

I was hoping it didn't need to be said but obviously don't travel around taking random chunks out of people's projects or adding random blocks anywhere. I noticed it today on the shoop da woop. If I see it happening I will insta-ban as there's really no excuse for it, it's just mindless griefing.

That sounds really harsh. In the previous maps, we were all working together, happily completing projects someone else started, connecting them with skybridges, expanding 1*2 hallways, decorating rough stone bridges etc.
That might sound surprising, but everyone was cool with that and often also rather happy when they didn't have time to complete a project. This is what a community is about, isn't it?
If anyone is annoyed by my skybridges, just say so. I just don't think that a project which is clearly built to be walked in or on would be any good without any way to get up there.

About "adding random blocks evywhere" and the lazer face: Do you mean the "SHOOP DA WHOOP!!!" letters? I don't think that qualifies as just "adding random blocks". You might have guessed it: I did that. I didn't intend any harm, so that wouldn't be griefing. I can remove them if you would prefer that.

That's totally different. I don't mind adding onto projects or the words being added. I fixed the letters actually. Working together is great. You writing the letters on it was fine.

What had happened was someone had flown by and deleted random chunks of the "shoop da woop" letters and placed blocks over the face, and then went on to delete random sections of grieger's boat or something while mining out portions of the white roads and bridges.

That's the sort of thing -fly-by-griefing in order to not get noticed that'll result in insta-bans if I see it happening. It's not a big deal, but it's petty, immature, and hopefully not worth getting banned over. So that's why I'm saying it'll be met with bans if I see it happening.

I don't think it's harsh punishment when people are just trying to be irritating to everyone else and mess up their work.

EDIT: STATUS UPDATE

We're back up. I really like this new server software except for one thing - the permissions are based on ranks, which automatically accepts new users as griefers(rank 0) who can't build until a trusted user/op/admin lets them. In other words, this would be perfect for a public server or if we had a big problem with griefing, but now it is just annoying.

However, this software gives me access to advanced permissions, permanent logging, OPs being able to teleport people to them, and many other useful features.

I will be moving back to the old software for tonight and we'll test some more later.

Well it seems we do have a greifer, so I'm not opposed to it. 

This is the second time I joined the server to find my fort magma flooded.

Oh yea, and he flooded the other half too, everything I made is flooded. 

Oh well, looked worse than it was, magma was the hardest to remove, water just needed strategic use of sponges like when I accidentally flooded the place myself 100 times.
