I found a couple pockets of water that could have flooded over all the magma, so I sponged them down to be the same level. Then Made a water/lava shamrock.

I made a boat.  A magma Boat.

Then I dug myself a nice little lair with a glass hallway partially submerged in lava, leading to an underwater viewing chamber, with a magma and water bath, right before the bedroom and a room fool of shinies.

Beware the power of home of the Dracon Swordmaster! (Cyan D) The awesome has been known to make lesser caves have feelings of inadequacy.

Ok, I'm officially opening a mega project, to be named at a later date.

It is marked off by black pillars and everything inside them requires removal, any magma by the walls will blacked off with RED blocks and water with BLUE blocks after being sponged away, for later use only remove what is inside the black pillars/line...

Its going to be a large black fort when done.

 How do you people feel about skylights?

Made a big staircase at spawn leading to the lower levels. It's easy to build "floating highways" off of, just remove a few tiles to make a door then start building your road to wherever you need it =) people already done this at magma level.

I also think a cool map would be where much of it is solid rock (not a cavern) and you spawn somewhat above ground perhaps? The people have to strike the earth and dig their way down, building a few things until eventually they breach a nice cavern with magma or water and such =P It would just be like the DF as we play it now... sort of.

problem would be navigation, and you wouldn't be able to see everyone's purdy creations from the spawn point.

Also, Kael, how did you get the game to appear so big? Is there some fullscreen option, or a little client to download so I can play it outside the web browser?

The server appears to be down. I don't care if you have to fix your internet with duct tape, I want my Minecraft and my insanely large door! 

Also, me and Vayre starting work on a massive gate on the side of the map, near the red trap-tower. Thus why I want my insanely large door.

How do you people feel about skylights?
