I wandered into the human controlled civilization zone looking for a town to get a quest and to sell/buy supplies. Lo and Behold the first "town" I got too looked like it was unfinished. The walls were never completed, no doors and also no sign of life. I move to the next town and the next and next to find the same thing. The last "Human" town in this area was complete, except it was infact an eleven fortress retreat, filled with millions of horrible elves. So I ask you, why are these towns uncompleted/ marked as a Human civilization?

Check the legends.  The humans had their towns destroyed some time during world-gen, probably elves and megabeasts.

How does one check the Legend? It only lets me continue playing.

Never mind, I just dupped a save and killed my character.  "The Minotaur Camoye the Blade of Gold razed a hovel in Smiledflies" rinse and repeat.
