What's the best way to get cash into PayPal?

Supposedly, there are redeemable cards available at Wal-Mart, CVS, etc.  Not sure whether there's a preset value or if it's adjustable, but the big issue is that I have yet to see one (though I get my food through a smaller place, so that's not saying much...)

This circumvents having to deposit the cash into an account and possibly wait for the balance to update - you would just enter a code from the card on Paypal.  They do add on a 'service fee', which is probably done to handle production and distribution of the cards, so it's your call as to whether or not it's worth it.

Bank account. It's not secure, but it's easy.

A better way is a debit card.

The easiest way would be to use a credit card. Depending on where you live, wire transfer could be a good alternative—my understanding is that wire transfers within the US are slightly fucked up, but are perfectly usable within Europe. You could also buy a MoneyPak—see PayPal's website for details.

Give it to a friend who has a pay pal account with money and get them to transfer the same amount to you.

The prepaid cards or the way McMalaclypse metioned are probably the easiest.

I'm assuming you don't have a bank account/credit card for whatever reason :)

Who doesn't have a bank account in this day and age? I've had once since I was 12.

This just in: 1 in 12 are not very bright. Another 3 out of 12 aren't very bright either, but don't think that stuffing their money in a mattress is a good idea.
