Alpha storm's easier to find than an english version of Parkan. It's on old-games.ru. It seems even superior to Parkan in terms of quality (which doesn't quite surprise me).

Oh, and if you got some extraction/recompression tools for Parkan, could you link to them? I can translate the text, if there's no way to just switch it around.

And Parkan should have some type of config program in it's directory, which is absent in some versions. If my memory still works right, there should be the option to switch language. Maybe just a little setting in some config file? Sorry, don't have a copy on hands to check...

Also: loved the game pretty much, especially when you go back in time and there are several (six?) copies of yourself helping you to flee from nasty A-cruisers.

The ending is lame (SUPER lame), though.

Unfortunately, that's a ripped version. Well, better than nothing. Certainly better than what I've been able to find (which is nothing).

Well, that's just one site. I'm sure a proper look around can find a better version. The Underdogs, for example, or even a good torrent search.

Man, I've searched for this thing for years and years and this is the first site I've been able to find that has any version. If you know of a good tracker focused on old and/or obscure games, I'd be most grateful for a link.

I'm downloading something that seems to be a full ISO version of it. The same place also has something that seems to be the mythological english version of Parkan. I'll tell you how it goes.

edit: well, the first chunk does seem, to contain an iso (or rather, a CUE/BIN), so I suppose you can try too.

Presumably the "full demo", since it's not labelled as "russian" - if you're wondering, there's no such thing as an "iso demo".

I Confirm the "full demo" as the english version of Parkan, complete with voiceovers, but with ripped videos. I can put the video files on my Dropbox, if you'd like. Last I checked, most of them don't have anything localizeable.

The parkan demo keeps not working when i'm using 7zip..Please help, oh, and if you say I need winRAR, then please link to it because ALL of the links i've found so far are viruses.

"keeps not working" in what way? You need to set its compatibility to Win95 and 640x480 resolution. It might not work under Vista, too.

A bit experimental... So far what i found:

• WLD files have connection data
• sounds can be extracted all are waws
• pictures (texture) are in strange NGB (similar to bmp somewhat) format
• This tool should also work with "Iron strategy" (a game worth checking out)
• spscenar has event scripts
