Okay, there will be a thread where we run stuff, and I'll also run weekly "chat instances" which will be like little missions for those interested. The forum thread will mostly be randomly terrorizing people and discussing character stuff.

Also, for the next part, abilities are from memory - don't have access to the full sheet at the moment, but I should be close.

Now to address things in reverse order:
There are some other templates, but they all require the additional rule supplements I don't want to mess with right now - The specialty templates like swarm, the titan templates, and the aquatic templates. If you really want swarm, I can grab it for you, but it will have to wait until Friday when I have access to the other books.

I'll try megaupload a little bit later this evening when I get a chance.

Poisonbreath places 1d6 poison markers on everyone within range within a 45 degree cone. The basic range is about 10.

It may seem underpowered, but anything with lackys is good - and you'll be leveling much faster than many other players as well.

The biggest advantage of size is the bonus it applies to grapple checks, and gives a resistance to some enemy special moves. In addition, it determines what you can fit into or behind. Smaller creatures can also travel on larger creatures.

The third point you made is a bit backwards - smaller characters have trouble hitting higher sections of enemies. Beyond size 4 or so it doesn't really matter though.

Devour allows you to eat enemies and enemy sections to regain health.

Drag line allows you to create a sticky web line, I believe (I'm a bit iffy on this one) and also lets you anchor yourself or other to things via the line. Useful as a safety line when climbing, lets you suspend people in the air or drag them across the ground or set up a tripwire so you'll now if it is touched. Its a bit less well defined than most moves because its not really a combat ability.

For those who took Giant, note you also get an HP bonus from that. I'll correct that before re-uploading. It should be +1hp for increases to size 2 or 3, +2hp for sizes 4-6, +3 for sizes 7-9, +4 for sizes 10-12, and twelve is max.
So Emperor_Jonathan, your Worg should get +7hp, as should Little's ogre.

Ok. Still, it dosn't look like leveling does all that much, and sadly forum games rarely last long enought to gain very many levels in my experience.

Admittedly, it may not seem like it does much - but gaining new abilities, additional lackies, and additional actions is nothing to scoff at .

Action points are equal to your level - though you can also use any ability as a full turn action instead if you don't have enough AP to use it normally.

I'd be willing to try this, if there's still room.

Character:
Shadow- Elemental Nature Shadow, Night Vision, Shadowmeld at 4,8,12,16, and 20. - Base Cost 500
Insubstantial at Lv 8. Shadows may change their shape at will.
20 react – 18 Land Speed – 0 Fly Speed – 0 dig
7 hp – 0 armor – 10 regen – 5 size – 5 sense
(Lv1)Spook, Hide Lv 2 (Lv2)Evasive, Climber (Lv3)Contagion Resistance, Poison Resistance (Lv4)Distract (Lv5)Chilling Touch (Lv6)Evasive, Greased (Lv7)Copy, Grab  (Lv8)Physical Resistance (Lv9)Chilling Touch (Lv10)Evasive, Contagion Immunity, Poison Immunity  (Lv11)Confuse (Lv12)Copy (Lv13)Chilling Touch (Lv14)Evasive, Vaporous (Lv15)Climber Lv2 (Lv18)Evasive (Lv19)Dominate (Lv20)Physical Immunity

Templates:
Infernal - 200pt
Undead - 250pt

End exp cost: 500+200=700+250=950exp per level.

The third point you made is a bit backwards - smaller characters have trouble hitting higher sections of enemies. Beyond size 4 or so it doesn't really matter though.

Shouldn't it be more of 'if X is this much bigger Y' rather than a one-size-hits-all? The idea of a six-foot tall human hitting my giant ogre on the head from the ground when he probably measures up to my knee is a bit silly.

Monsters don't really have sections is the issue - its sort of an imbalanced system that way. So, basically, enemies can NEVER hit you in the head :P
