Ex: I am in fact working with an architect friend of mine to build several underground off the grid homes for our own personal use. If we are lucky it will be finished around the time DF hits version 1.0! Which is to say, we are on the 10 year plan here.

I win!

Ex. I've taken to going outside as infrequently as possible, preferably after dark, and haven't shaved in a month.

Not that this was unusual for me before I ran across DF, mind you.

Never used Dwarf Therapist, mods or tilesets in all the years I've been playing.
I think Toady's confusing interface better simulates the experience of a bunch of disorganised drunken dwarves running a fort.

Are you implying that DF will reach version 1.0 in ten years?!? Scandalous! What sort of game would DF be if it reached 1.0 in such a short amount of time! Think of how much more quality could be obtained if it didn't come out for 50... 75... no, 100 years! Now that would be a game that I would be willing to buy! ;D

It would be brutally difficult and probably won't work. In other words, it's absolutely dwarven!

I think that the game probably will come out in 10 or less years just because Toady is amazing.

Didn't Toady say it would stay free, though? how would he continue that stream of donations after the Epicness of DFv1.0?

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.
