I think the only way for taking turns at the same time to work is keeping your moves secret from the other team (which leads to movement conflicts). Otherwise everyone will want to change their move when they see the other teams gambit. Or, I guess, teams could take turns posting their moves first, but the turn happens all at the same time. Like, Red posts their moves, Blue posts their moves, they all move at once, next turn Blue posts then Red posts. Or something. Team going second will always have the advantage of being able to react to the previous teams moves.

I like the can't-break-combat rule, it Nerfs the scout-rush a bit.
