Huh... I hadn't thought of leveling up mid-fight. I think most of the powerups (definitely the attack one anyway) add a percentage boost to the stat so it doesn't matter when you get them. Not sure on that though... but someone else can check the wiki.

Pactmaker seems to take a chunk of your stats then give you a bonus to each stat at level up as well as making each kill give you more experience. REALLY handy, especially if you can start worshiping at level one and manage to make it to level 2 (not TOO hard if you find the fireball skill/spell). Watch out though: I tried it on a... rogue(? whichever one has less health but more attack) and making the pact killed me because I only had 5 health.

The moment the lever was pulled, somebody's pet kitten stepped onto the bridge. I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

Oh here's a link to the wiki for people who want it. All I've looked at is gods so far but it has ALL of the information about them, which is nice.

GOD OF DEATH IS A TRAP HE INSTA-KILLS YOU THAT IS ALL.

He removes 10 HP from your max health. Must've only had ten or less if he offed ya.

"Compatibility mode", dude. If he tries running it under "capatability mode" some terrible thing involving elder gods will probably happen.

I was like, ha, this looks like a pretty dumb and boring game. I was so wrong. Gentlemen, I have discovered true fun.

Ive gotten addicted to this game too. It's such a pain in the ass but I keep coming back for more...

The pactmaker seems to be the best god, at least relatively speaking.

The earthmother on the other hand is completely useless. Never worship her.

Earthmother is a great god for transmuters to leave.

Just rocked all the Basic classes in Normal mode...this game will entertain me for a while, I'm sure. So simple but so strategic.

I was level one with 11 health, I was poisoned, and decided to worship the God of Death. I had no health potions left. That is all.

Earthmother also makes you immune to death gaze, which is great in the snake pit.

Well I guess I should say she is the least useful god. Deathgaze immunity is pretty nice if you have to fight meduse though, although it's probably the least useful of the immunitys.

Virustotal is being a dick and saying the game has a constructor trojan. Well, only 2 out of 42 AVs detect it.
