This game is quite fun.
Even though it replaces randomness with more strategic thinking.

Yeah, the fog of war thing adds a lot more tactical thought than what I'm used to, I was pretty taken aback when I only had two monsters left and realized I didn't have enough health or damage potential to win.

I'm thoroughly enjoying this game. Also though I would suggest beating it with magic users first as they are continually getting screwed later on.

my champion is now holding his artifact crossbow by his upper left leg and still shooting with is just fine despite having no hands.

I found an easily abusable way to win. As a low level (2 or below would be best) get the wonafyt rune, and summon. No need to waste fog exploring anymore. Extra good if you're a fighter.

It's not just abusable, it's encouraged. You get extra score if you use the rune at least once. Though you don't get the extra score from not using runes.

I'm really enjoying this. A brilliant take on roguelikes.

Yeah  that is not really abuse. First you have to find it, hoping it is even in the dungeon. A very viable way to win a round. Keep in mind, you can sometimes get to a point that you havent found enough of the bonuses to attack, mana, health so that you may not be able to easily beat what you summon. Of course, I usually try to save most of those powerups for later, but mana seems to only give 1 point no matter what level I am at.

I finally beat the normal dungeon with all the first tier classes. I know, I suck. Trying to do snakepit and library a couple times so I can get the bonuses.

I'm not seeing how a wizard can beat the factory. I've managed to unlock everything else, but GOD DAMN THAT FACTORY.

That's why its hard. Personally, I don't understand what the Monk has that is an advantage in any way.

Nice game, though I wouldn't call it rougelike (it is more puzzle-like) and certainly not 10-minute)

By now i have completed normal dungeon with all non-bonus classes and Snake Pit with Fighter... So far my favorite classes are Assassin and Warlord.

Whee, Tier 3 done!

The third tier was easier than the second as I started focusing more on higher level monsters. With every class I tried to use their abilities to kill the weakest high level monster. Poison helped a TON. I even managed to bring down a Super Meat Man with it.

Also, one strategy that's really useful is leveling up mid-fight. After spending all health and mana fighting a level 8 monster it's nice to beat a few level 1-2s and get it all back while the monster recovers nothing. Makes it possible to kill some level 8s at level 4 or so, which yields an enormous experience bonus.

Now onto some challenges to get the remaining 4 bonus classes.

I agree that leveling up mid-fight is the way to go. Most of the bosses can be beaten by using that strategy between level 7 and 8, in my experience. Working my way through the third tier right now, really enjoying it.
