I spent all day drawing and thinking today, and made a Gatling Gatling ballista with a steam engine to draw back the strings. I'm taking it in to my professor because he can do the calculations for the firing force it would have, but fuck it y'all, I'm building this thing and mounting it in my truck bed. It has double Gatling for a reason. Anyone else remember the rides at the fair where it was the three carts on a wheel, that was on a spar from a larger wheel that had two other spars? It was like, spinning while you spin, Xzibit style. This is like that.

Actually, I don't know how great it would be on a vehicle in a real warefare situation.  Sure, you'd probably hit your target, but you'd also hit everything within 45 degrees of wherever you're aiming.

The solution to your inability to hold the Gatling shotgun is simple, weld two together facing in opposite directions! This has the added bonus of doubling your dakka.

I have done a good thing. I figured out how to work cannon shot in with the double gatling ballista. I have functional blueprints that I will work on over spring break.

Well you could be able to control the general dirrection of where you are firing.
