Dwarves in comas
« on: March 12, 2010, 08:16:13 pm »

At least one of my dwarves was injured in a cave-in. She's my legendary miner, with all her attributes maxed, and she dragged herself into bed with two mangled legs. Now she's completely healed, but is still unconscious.

Is there any way to get her to wake up? I'm getting tired of the human diplomat hanging around in my barracks (the miner keeps getting elected mayor even though she's unconscious).

Remove the bed and forbid all untaken beds. She will be forced to do stuff.

You do not understand the ways of Toady One. He is not a business, he's just a guy trying to make a fun game. He's invited people to come along and experience the journey with him (and help him test it out as he goes along). At the end of the day, I don't think his main goal is to sell Dwarf Fortress, its just to create the best game possible.

Little bastards are smarter than we've been giving them credit for.

Of all the bodily fluids Toady could add to the game...

Then again, given some of the clowns in the game, it's not the worst fluid he could add.

Q: What do you get when you take 100 clear glass windows, 1000 silver bars, 6700 gold bars, and 18,000 marble blocks?

A: A very large wall.

can unconscious dwarves give birth? This could cause some very sketchy ethics. Well, for whatever ethics dwarves have anyway

But all the dwarves are male and do naughty things to Snow White.

I also have the COTG unconcious in bed with a moderately wounded leg.

New question! If I were to remove elves [INTELLIGENT] tag in the raws, would it work?
