My biggest problem is when I try to make a sea fort the waves go through my walls.

Are you sure they aren't breaking over your walls or perhaps breaking around them? I've built a breakwater using walls before and it works fine.

They break over them? Guess I need taller walls.

hmm... I wonder if toady will implement a feature where certain parts of the day/year its high tide and other times its low tide. even enough to cause the sea to rise a couple z-levels.  That would be awesome and just think of the applications!

We might actually be tempted to build the Rattray Head lighthouse, or others like it.

to an earlier post.. seawater mist does give a happy though, I'm playing on a sea map atm and all my dwarves have the waterfall thought from the waves.... I should change the wiki.
