I must say that one of my favorite features of dwarf fortress is legends mode. It's like ready the most metal tolkien spread sheets imaginable. What I would like to see are some modifications to the searches. I'd like to see certain labels that would allow me to search for certain things quicker. Firstly I'd like to be able to search by race. Profession would be nice also, perhaps separating current profession and passed professions. I'd like to see structures be classified for their professions and what race created them, along with what kind of structure they are being searchable. Kill count could also be searchable, allowing us to see a list from greatest to least of who has gotten the most kill count. Injuries would be searchable, allowing to find out who has had the most brutal existence essentially.

I figure that this would be of least priority in a list of updates to DF, but I grow tired of looking for epicness manually and would like to see just how cool my world is without having to look for it.

On a separate note, I'd like to see an engravings search so I could witness how retarded every one is in my worldgen, but that's no fun for the seasoned adventurer who has to get all up in a tentacle demon pit to find coolness.
