When you say swooped, did the harpies carry him off? I saw a squirrel get swooped by an owl once. Fascinating and cruel at the same time.

It would be even more cruel to starve the owl. This is nature for you....

The Liasion has not only high stats, but he flashes like the legendary dwarfes use to.
Means he has at least some skill on a legendary level.
I have a backup of the world, so I can enter legendary mode and look up his name.
I'll report what i find once I get home.

i once had a legendary liaison that was a dragon slayer... if you look in his inventory and see some stuff made of interesting materials like dragon bone or hydra skin or something like that chance is he killed one of the monsters...

The liasons are sometimes former soldiers, so theres a chance that he is a legendary weaponuser. Although, I have no idea if the same rule that applies to champions where you can't make them civillians again applies to historical figures in worldgen.

It was actually a she. And you were right about the legendary screen.
In fact she was an adventurer and killed a cyclops and a giant with a crossbow.

She became a mayor after beating down a giant and shooting a cyclops, and then became an outpost liaison.

It was only cruel because the squirrel squeaked furiously, like trying to shout his last words to his family below, on the other hand, the Owl flew to his nest and fed his kid while his wife asked if he had a long day at work again.
