As I said in the other thread about the same subject, I'll test just how arrows will work in the new version, having been "nerfed". Having to been resorted in annoying modded blunt-arrows to stop their overpoweredness in 40d, I'll test them in the new combat system using arena mode in various different ways.

Build and upside down tower into the caverns below. Find some magma. Secretly pump it up through a natural rock pillar into my tower. Then, i will open the floodgates on the side of the tower and... FLOOD THE UNDERWORLD WITH MAGMA

Anybody who doesn't do this is not a dwarf and should be executed.

I'm nor really sure.

I think I'll go through a half a dozen bad fortresses as I relearn the game. I might play longer in fortress now, since the military isnt as annoying to handle.

I'm guessing you get a billion FPS?

The first thing I'm doing is taking over burrows and pre-existing spots.

Then, I'd like to experiment and make a massive hospital... for some reason, healthcare excites me more than anything about the update  :P
