Taer Nymandis year six
1: create permanent tuber plantations.
2: try to cultivate the lichen that caribou eat to provide a reliable food source for the livestock.
3: send weaker caribou from stronger strain to weaker strain to introduce genetic diversity instead of slaughtering them.

The Disciples of the Rising Sun (as they are now called) continues to farm.
The Order of Storm Continues foray into shipbuilding.
As there are 2 separate identities, try to understand trading or economics or such.

Yeah, I was aware that I wasn't collecting food. That was intentional.

Cyprinus Tribes – Year Six

There is much disappointment amongst the elders. Ruud was one of the men who lost his life in one of the brawls. After much consideration, however, it is deemed too consuming to set up a system through which justice can be achieved... at least just yet. Instead, more focus is put into finding new sources of food and other resources, such as bone, blubber, textiles, entrails and poisons.

Perhaps next year, after working with the whales, one of the men will be inspired enough to attempt to perform alchemy with the resources of the five tribes. Until then, however, the five tribes separate again. When the next whale is caught, however, they will once again re-join, this time with less taunting it is hoped.

There is much time until that event, however, and in the meantime the many tribes work on their survival skills, perfecting their abilities to sail the seas on their boats, as well as gather the bounties of the ocean.


1: Row out using the small boats and set up the fishing nets to make fisheries in the estuary.
2: Go Whale Hunting!
3: Collect seaweed from shallow waters.

-Search Sweet fruits for brewing and eating
-bring more herbs to the shaman to make medicines(simple ones)
-Test different pionts of blowdarts (like arrows)
-Create a community of people that lead over the village (shaman,chief,captain etc.

Quick update. This week has been and will continue to be crazy for me. I will try and get results up by early next week. I hope that everyone is busy enough with 31.01 to not mind too much.

So my computer died later in the day after I made that last post... so I lost all of my notes. I think I have most of it online, though... again, still aiming for early next week for the next turn/year.

Thanks to everyone for your patience while I got my computer fixed. I tried to get on the forums using my laptop this past week but experienced the "high latency connection" issues Toady talked about in today's dev log.

I may have been a bit briefer than usual in my descriptions, but I wanted to get another turn out there.
