Well,I had about 10 cages of naked mole dogs I wanted to sell. I acidentaly told my dwarves to only bring the cages and not the animals to the trade depot,so the naked mole dogs ran wild in my fortress for a few minutes before the guards arrived to kill them. And then,suddenly,my weaver starts passing out. So I look to see if he's wounded,and I realize that he has NO EYES,and no other wounds. He didn't pass out before the mole dog incident,so I assume his eyes were fine. I think the mole dogs pecked his eyes out. wtf?

Look at it this way.

The mole dogs, cornered and about to be sold into slavery and death... get a lucky break and flee. They know very well that their escape is impossible, that the thick walls of the fortress will prevent their escape. They are dead meat and their butchers are coming over with incredible speed!
Scared, cornered and doomed. They see a weaver. The weaver freaks out but is not much of a threat ... if they were to perform an action in the last stage of their lives, it would be towards this weaver. and they are hungry animals! Naturally they throw themselves at the helpless dwarf and eat his eyes. Who wouldn't? Dwarven eyeballs is a delicacy known throughout the underworld.

They were lucky to die in such a magnificent way. Smacking away on their favorite meal while crippling one of your workers as a final "fuck you!" to the god who condemned them in the first place.

damn. Naked moledogs really hate my weaver. A few months after he lost his eyes,They broke his left arm and leg. Now he's in a coma. He's the only one the moledogs seem to target,nobody else is getting hurt o.0

Any dwarf with no eyes reminds me of Lightning. You should have drafted him into the military as a Crossbowdwarf.
