Ahh sports, the bane of every nerd, geek, and hacker. Spring track just started for me and I am pumped for shot put and javelin. I consider myself a bit of a jock. I've played baseball and football for most of my life and have been pretty good at both. I recently took up track after a friend reccomended I join the team.

Discuss sports and such here. If you don't like them, or being outside for that matter, then discuss that too.

I probably won't be able to do hockey this year. Which sucks, because it's awesome, but I've overcommitted myself.

Hockey is awesome!

Don't play into the stereotype! I've been meaning to join a soccer or ball hockey league again, but I've been too lazy this year. Fun stuff though.

I went to golf practice and blistered the end of my thumb off. Then I picked up a mug of hot coffee. Said coffee mug was being held above my thigh when my thumb touched it. I'm using my left hand next time.

I ran cross country last year...I think I have some sort of knee issue though, and maybe shin splints...

I like hockey (Oh, how I miss ice hockey), fencing, soccer (Admittedly haven't really played in years), golf can be fun, and snowboarding is alright if you don't mind some concussions.

Swimming for the win.

Dancing is also awesome (solo, pairs, or group.) Tango is my favorite, and I really really want to learn to breakdance (but who doesn't?)

I was the typical nerd, sports just weren't interesting.  I did enjoy that one time in PE where we played lacrosse, but I doubt we did it right.  What I did enjoy however, was four square.  I wasn't a god on the four square court, but I had rockin' style.  If only it were a national sport :(

Hated wall ball however, HATED.  Freaken' elitists.

do nerf guns count as a sport?

For the horse, though, it's possible that wild horses migrated in, knocked her up, and migrated off.
Did they even call afterward?

Sports are things that other people do to amuse fathers and the athletic children all over the world.

Alternatively, it is five years of torture and prison-camp discipline designed to humiliate anyone who lacks the ability to chase a glorified pig bladder over the battle of the fucking Somme when it's pelting it down with sleet and everyone is wearing a polo shirt and shorts and oh god I hated my school.

I like watching sports, sort of. Unless a team I really care about is playing, I usually alternate between actually watching and chatting with my friends.
I also enjoy basketball quite a bit, but I'm terrible at it.
