Let's Play Avernum 6

The Games
SIX HAS BEEN CHOSEN!

Basically, the Avernum games by Spiderweb Software are about a kingdom of people who live under the ground, after being exiled by the Empire for crimes / because of unfair imperial bureaucracy. Avernum is the kingdom, named after the first castle to be built down there. It is a dangerous monster and demon-filled series of caves populated by some of the strangest people in the world, as well as some of the strongest and most independent people.

In Avernum 3, there're a series of monstrous "plagues" being visited on the surface world, and you're sent to sort them out. This runs on the old engine, which is ( in my opinion at least ) much more fun than the newer one for various reasons. However, there're not quite as many divergent paths in terms of moralistic choices ( if any, I can barely remember ), the graphics are very crude and there's a timer on how long you can take to play the game. ( If you take too long, bad stuff starts to happen. )

In Avernum 6, you're tasked to help stop the slith horde ( slith = slithzerikai = giant lizard people who are good with spears ), whilst trying to reduce the impact of the mushroom blight on Avernum. ( The blight is basically killing off all mushroom crops and making people starve. ) It's got a newer engine, better graphics and it's more suited for an LP type of game with lots of choices in terms of how to deal with situations.

Both games have a classless system which lets you develop your characters however you like, a rather wide open world to explore ( I think Avernum 3's is bigger, but I'm not certain of that ), a LOT of gameplay time and often ( if you don't play well ) a great deal of FUN.

So, first choice:

OR
Spoiler: Avernum 6 (click to show/hide)

EDIT: I just realised that looks like we're going to play Avernum 0.5. I just wanted to say that we are not going to play Avernum 2/4 because no such thing exists. Also, I would've reduced my fraction to the simplest form if we were going to do so. And, may I reiterate that we are playing Avernum 3 OR 6, not Avernum 1/2.

Yeah, six sounds more interesting. If we can, I call dibs on one of the characters.

We need an all-Slithzerikai party. Just for the giggles.

I sign up as a Slithzerikai ... warrior? I think that's it. I would go for Hedge Wizard but I don't know what a Hedge Wizard is.

Hedge Wizards are mage-priests.

And, sure, give me a name and have a look at whatever character icon you'd like to pick. Also, would you like me to do it off custom so your character is better made? AND would you rather use spears or swords? =p In terms of swords, dual wield or with shield?

Slithzerikai priest.  Custom build focused on spellcraft, anatomy, first aid & nature lore.  Otherwise built for as decent as possible defense.  Mabye the Pure Spirit and/or Divinely Touched traits, if possible.

Polearms weapon wise.

Pic #4 (pink hood).

Name: Bokahilla
Race: Human
Type: Berserker
Weapon: Sword
Traits: Elite Warrior
Skills: Big swords and dodging
Portrait: The one in the chainmail bikini

If nobody else wants to, it might be possible for me to pick up some mage spells, because it'd make no sense, taking the Natural Mage trait as well.
