History? I never bother. Live in the moment, baby.

Although the idea of an archive room does appeal to me. I'll have to add one to my next fortress. Preferably out of cast obsidian, for extra awesomeness.

Hmmm... and with statues being less vague in the next version, they might also go well in the archive room.  I'm not sure if they're related to historical events yet or not, though.  They may just be clouds and shapes and purring maggots and the like.

Occasionally I will post a journal for some small forum or the like if there are some DF players. Most of the time I don't really keep history, save for telling my friends about awesome things my dorfs did.
