The Kriegler's are still good, 3 Chevron IIRC, The Liederhosen's finest is 4-5 Chevron and the Laufenburg Elite are 3 chevron.

The Cologne had the distinct pleasure of being the most heavily fortified city the Austrian's had faced, it was well protected by a ring of star-forts, and one blocked the way into the city, where the Hessen garrisoned their Army.

The Austrians Formed up into a pretty standard formation, while cannons ripped into the walls.


The conscripts would be the Forlorn Hope, and were ordered to take the walls first.



The Hessen's fought back and a melee broke out.


Not willing to commit all their forces to one front, the Dragoon's having the speed to make it to the other side of the fort without getting exhausted, were ordered to take the walls and flank the Hessens.



They quickly scaled the walls and begin ripping into formations on the ground.


Meanwhile, back on the main assault, the main infantry began their assault.




On the Secondary assault, one of the wings of dragoons left the wall and formed a line, firing into Hessen troops who had been held in reserve.



Finally the Austrians assaulted, the Dragoons and Kriegler's Finest leading the day.


And Cologne was taken.

That's coo,l but not that battle popey. Battle Pope is a chain smoker filled with apprehension and armed with nothing more than a rusty shovel. The ideal battle pope would have eyes that were red with bloodlust and wield an adamantine warhammer with a barrel of sewer brew at the end of it.
