Good job, i hope that it continues as such. (but it might be more suspenseful if it didn't  )

Look at them Maratha, We got better troops then them, but they have pure numbers, if they strike...say once we begin a campaign against Poland (Germans Invading Poland, HMMMM) We could very easily lose the east.

Remember, numbers confer no advantage, it is the skill of you gernerals, troops, and your leaders that will assure victory.

I'd expand to the west, and attempt to maintain good relations with Maratha, whilst fortifing the border between the two of you. (build a wall of forts for fun)

Also couldn't hurt to send a few fleets of Indiamen to the straits for trade goods could it?

I Keep trying to! We keep ending up at war with an enemy who can sink them! First Spain, now the United Provinces!

You probably can't afford some patrols either with the army maintenence and all.

Regardless do your best with limited resources, i will support you even in a final losing battle (if it ever come to that).

The siege Began with the artillery moving into position while the carbineers moved quickly to eliminate enemy artillery that had been placed outside the walls, managing to get themselves shot up in the process but it was a needed sacrifice.


Once in position the artillery opened up on the walls, howitzers throwing fire into infantry stationed on the walls.


This forced a sally as the mainly peasant troops did not want to sit around and burn.


But this didn't stop the howitzers..


It became a slaughter for the Prussians as they tried to throw themselves against Austrian lines...



..and they soon Routed.


Prussia was conquered.

On a side note, I'm making it a house rule to not use Carcass shot during fort attack except against units that have already sallied., it causes the AI to do a suicidal death charge at you when staying behind their walls would make it a much bloodier battle.

India is almost exclusively Marathan.


The new World is divided Between the UK and their Colonies, The French Colonies, and Spain and their colonies.


Europe is dominated by the Austrians, Russians and French, With the Maratha Confederacy, Swedish and Spanish slowly gaining more power.

Try to loot some territories off of a strong empire that's being attacked on several fronts. That way you weaken your biggest enemies while still getting easy territories.

A Shocking Revelation!


New farming techniques have sparked massive reforms across the empire, reforms that will continue for years.


In the East, Arnold Morawetz takes command of the East Guards.


The East Guards had been far from idle, under orders from the republic a line of four border forts were set up and lightly garrisoned, their construction means that if the Maratha Confederacy decides to attack, they will have to go through one of them in order to reach Damascus or Ankara.  Fort Alexander, the fort protecting Ankara is marked to be built into a stone fort, with the other forts to be kept as wooden ones.



Back home, Ludwig, a man who has seen so very much in his long life, has died at an age nearing one-hundred, he is Succeeded by Leopold Pasch.


Elections have also been carried out, with Boris Kaiser keeping his position.


The United Provinces have fallen.


In other news, the Trading Ports in the Adriatic are on full production as they continue to lay out new Indiamans...


These are being sent to Africa, where Heyreddin is securing trade colonies.


This is leading to increased economic prosperity as ivory floods the markets.


Finally, the Hessen, who Declared on Austria with the Prussians, is now facing the Republican Army...
