Elections we're quickly held after the fall of Vienna and a new intern government was set up, with Boris Kaiser as president, ministers were quickly elected too but it would take years before better then average ministers could be chosen.
The new government quickly went about adjusting taxes and funding new projects across the empire, and repairing buildings destroyed by rioting, The treasuring had taken a hit during the revolution and was no longer bringing incredible profits that the Hasburg Monarchy had bought, and it would no doubt take years for stability to return.
The new Regime quickly went about implementing new recruitment rules that could now use conscription to raise troops when needed, although not any better then Militia and definitely worse then normal line infantry, the new conscripts could be quickly raised. 4 units were raised, two joining the main army,(Which had just been called back from Afrika) and two joining Ludwig's army.
In the East, the Maratha Confederacy has united India and now was pushing into the Middle East, a definite threat to Austrian Authority in the Region, and the East Guards are marching to take up a position that could counter any Maratha attack.
Back at home, Government was moving quickly , orders we're being dispatched to Ludwig's North Guard's the, General who was now 95 years old, and had seen war and peace, the fall of the Ottoman Empire, although his army had not seen much action.
Prussia, had two bordering provinces to Austrian Territory, not only this, they were Prussia's ONLY provinces, it was a good first target for the new Republik, both region capitals we're strongly garrisoned, and no doubt the people of Prussia would be willing to accept the Repbulik as their new controls, after being at war for so long.
Thus in 1750, War was declared..
The Main army would march to Munich, and Ludwig's army would march to Dresden.
With any luck the war could be won in less then a season.
