However the Empire is far from peace. The Spanish Empire controls the Sea, raiding shipping and holding a stronger fleet then the Austrians. The war has been mostly quiet, but it is expected that in the next few years it will become a bloody affair if the Austrians can land ships on Spanish soil.
In Prussia, Isidor Holden has made off with something that could very well turn the tide against the more advanced spanish fleet and send them to the bottom, This will allow us to build advanced shipyards which can roll out up to 2nd Rate Ship of the Lines, A ship class that could challenge the Spanish fleet and destroy them, unfortunately, such large ships are very expensive, and though the Economy is slowly becoming more powerful, We are unsure if it could fund Second Rates.
He managed to acquire this between his usual watching of Prussian Gentlemen shooting themselves in the face.
On that note, our Rake in Poland has been shooting Gentlemen himself, disrupting technological advances for them also.
