And I have difficulties in choosing what game to start an LP of.

So I thought I'd let you forumgoers choose what I should start playing. Here's a small list of things I'll be willing to play, as well as some details to them.

Spoiler: Trine (click to show/hide)

Trine is an indie puzzle platformer game, set in a fantasy world in a kingdom which has fallen into darkness. When a thief, a wizard, and a knight, all at the same time stumble upon an ancient artifact, the Trine, their souls are bound together, and they start to search for a way to break the Trine's spell. On the way, they must battle the endless undead that wanders the fallen kingdom and restore it to it's former glory.

Pros:
* Good story and gameplay.
* Slightly humorous.

Cons:
* No forumite interactivity. Levels proceed in a very linear fashion.
* Fairly short.

Spoiler: Aquaria (click to show/hide)

Aquaria is an award-winning action-adventure game set in a massive underwater world teeming with life and filled with ancient secrets. Join Naija, a lone underwater adventurer, as she travels from hidden caves shrouded in darkness, to beautiful, sunlit oases in search of her past. She'll uncover hidden treasures, explore uncharted waters, and do battle with massive underwater beasts to learn the truth about her family and reveal the secret of Aquaria.

Aquaria is a very awesome indie game, which focuses on story and art over gameplay.

Pros:
* Very good story. So good, in fact, why aren't you playing this yourself right now?
* High immersion. Expect a lot of In-character stuff about Naija from me.

Cons:
* Little forumite interactivity. The first hour of the game is fairly linear. After that, choices as to where we go and what we do can be made.
* Focus does not lie on gameplay.

Spoiler: X-COM: Interceptor (click to show/hide)

In 2063, X-COM takes to the skies, as they battle aliens on the Frontier, protecting the Elerium-115 mining operations and teaching those alien bastards who's boss! X-COM: Interceptor is different from the other three games in the series, in that it's not a management/tactical combat game, it's a management/spaceflight combat game.

Pros:
* High forumite interactivity: Recruits and their ships can be named, research and weapon loadouts can be changed, etc.
* X-COM!

Cons:
* Screenshotting can be an issue. In fact, if I cannot find a way to pause combat, I might not be able to do this LP at all!
* Becomes slightly tedious in the long run.

Spoiler: Final Fantasy I - Dawn of Souls (again?) (click to show/hide)

Most of you have already heard of Final Fantasy. (If you haven't, you're probably living in a cave.) A remake of the first incarnation, you take the role of four young heroes as they try to restore power to the four elemental crystals, and remove the veil of darkness from the land.

"Hang on, haven't you already tried to make an LP of this before?"

Tried and failed, but I will gladly start again, and I've learned a little bit of my past mistakes from the last LP.

Pros:
* High forumite interactivity. Four people are up for grabs, everyone gets to select a class, and also equipment and spells unless I say otherwise.

Cons:
* Very long LP.

As far as X-COM goes, I can recommend a little screenshot utility I've used just recently.  It won't help you pause the game, but it does let you take a horde of screens in the hopes that you find one that works.

Oh hey, that sounds really useful! Thanks! (The problems wasn't actually taking screenshots in the first place, but rather alt-tabbing to save them without me becoming a sitting duck in the meantime.)

Also, that is 2(3?) votes for Interceptor, and one for Final Fantasy. I really should have made a poll for this. Shows how much I suck at forums. >_>
