Tower shields and ranged weapons won't mix, but other shields will. Any shields and polearms won't mix.
Do non-tower shields have a penalty for use with ranged weapons?

Also, it's really early, I know, but do you have an estimate of when you can work on the turn?

There won't be penalties on combining non-tower shields with ranged weapons.

That'll depend on a few circumstances outside my control.

Hhhhmmmmm.... I didn't expect that roll to be a <roll deleted>. What are the chances? Apart from 1/100, that is. One of the two only ways that roll could have given an actual result.

The Great Lactosians suffer an uber-famine. The crops are so bad that glucose is drained from the people's bodies to an alternate dimension. Everyone dies.

Except the people in the alternate dimension. They get fat. And maybe diabetic.

They probably die from cancer. Of the fat. Yes, in the alternate dimension, fat cancer is a plague that kills everyone.
Anyway, if you've rolled rolls, does that mean you've started on the turns? When do you expect to finish?

Rolls that usually don't do anything are never good. Well, they can be, but not when the GM says "Hhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmm" upon rolling it.

Those are the megabeast breaks free checks.

Maybe I've just rolled for the hell of it? ;) Perhaps today, perhaps tomorrow.

So how's the turn going? How much have you finished so far?

A bunch of points here.

You know, I think I'm actually going to wind up using Arcane Craft.

What was the wildly unlikely roll? The Chosen One using obsidian to cast Cover of Night (which probably actually weakened his forces?)

Hey, do you always get a replacement general if your current one dies?

What's the protocol for diplomacy? PMs with Knight Otu as a recipient?

Oh, and a minor nitpick: The Tokk aren't really insectoid. They're pretty much humanoid, but between their hairlessness, their coloration, and their general facial and body structure, they look vaguely reminiscent of insects.

That was an Enlightened racial, so probably not.

Yep.

Really? Don't they very occasionally have vestigial wings?
