I thought I had it updated up to the last turn, but it seems to be the turn before the last turn. Anyway, that'll be added. I think I also need to add the clarification that animal production can't be improved by mills. Anything else?

Metal arrowheads - 1 labor and 1 metal creates an amount of arrowheads that is good for 10 battles, increasing the ranged attack value. Military Workshop applies.

Regions can be re-explored to see if one missed special resources the first time through. New civilizations generally won't spring up (though one might never know with forests and mountains).

After some discussion, the agriculture line of research has changed.

Agriculture
  Requires Farming, Literacy, Mining
  Allows Two-Field Farms

Improved Agriculture
Requires Agriculture, one of Animal Taming or Horseback Riding
  Requires Library
  Allows Three-Field Farms

Two-Field Farm (Agriculture)
Plains or hills
Requires and stacks with irrigation
no resources, 4 labor
+1 food

Three-Field Farm (Improved Agriculture)
Plains or hills
Requires and stacks with irrigation and Two-Field Farm
no resources, 3 labor
+1 food

Is the two-field farm supposed to be more expensive than the three-field, or did you get the costs backwards?

This game isn't as exciting as it was before. :/
I will forge on nonetheless. Expect a turn sometime, I guess.

Apologies about my RP. I've been distracted by other things, so it's hard to get into the proper mindset.

We need MOAR WAR, which requires more contact. Most of us don't even know the others exist.

Also, can you tell me how much more research points I need for my currently researched technologies, or at least which one requires more research?

Everyone but me is more-or-less in contact anyway, now that you've run into the brainspawn. Shouldn't take long now.

To be fair, we don't know how widespread the brainspawn really are. Considering how close the two of us were, though, it seems likely that we're not that far off.

I am curious what you don't find exciting anymore, though. Is it possible you just got too focused on being effective, and not enough on doing what you wanted?

I think I should start the blood sacrifices soon...

Perhaps using Lactosian blood when I can will make the game more exciting for you, Cheddarius?

I can't pinpoint it, but nothing really interesting is happening any more. Before, I had stuff going on... now nothing really happens.
For example, before, I could research farming, and suddenly I have tons extra production. I could research spirituality, and my morale would leap. Now, I'll put a fourth of my population on some research for steel or farming or whatnot and the increase in productivity will be nearly nonexistent. Every year is about the same.

Try it if you like, but I doubt it'll turn out well for you.

Also.
How does jewelry work? Do I need a special technology for it? Does the gold->jewelry conversion work the same as the wool->clothing one? Is there a jeweller's workshop?

There's no tech needed, I think, and the conversion works the same way. My tinkerer's shop lets me make jewelry faster, but it requires one of my unique techs.

The players aren't as close together as they used to be with three players dropping and some terrain already established as not settled, but they're still relatively close. It's just that everyone scouted in all the wrong directions. Had the Haskanara started by scouting north and upriver, the contact with Great Lactosia would have quickly been established. Also note that travel through scouted terrain is faster.

Now, I'll put a fourth of my population on some research for steel or farming or whatnot and the increase in productivity will be nearly nonexistent. Every year is about the same.
I've for a while now planned for Steel to provide a heavy smelter building that doubles alloy production speed (including strong iron and steel) - it might not be enough, but I doubt that it'll be the only technology that'll increase productivity in some way.

Vanigo is correct here. When you have a "jewelryable" resource, it can be used just like wool->clothes. The tinkerer's workshop is currently the only building that increases jewelry production speed. A jeweler's workshop would have to be in some way worse than the tinkerer's workshop, otherwise the tinkerer's workshop would be pointless.

Anyway, the last thing I want to do is to bore people. Neither by making it too easy for you, nor by making it too hard to accomplish anything, nor any way else.
