Can I trade gold for resources? It seems rather useless at this point, considering two of my starting bonuses were geared toward it.
If you find an independent village or another player who has the resource, that should become an option. I'll consider other uses for goldmoney as well, though - it is a bit of an empty portion of the game currently. I suppose buying another labor point as "overtime" isn't impossible, but I need to consider how to balance it.

---

The wood farms I proposed wouldn't take wood to create, unlike the hunter's camp. Of course, they also wouldn't provide the option to get leather. I keep forgetting that the Kodama are already pretty close to Engineering, but they'd also need Mechanics for windmills, and research isn't going to get easier.

---

Edit: Cheddarius, I just noticed that you're trying to irrigate a hill. I'll assume that you wanted tile 2 rather than 1, but tell me if you have other plans.

Edit edit: evilcherry, similarly, you're trying to quarry plains. I'll assume you wanted the neighboring tile 5 if you don't object.

I'm actually trying to quarry #14.

You should totally quarry tile 5, it looks much nicer than tile 14.

I explicitly want to quarry on that river.

I suppose tile 14 has something going for it. I still think tile 5 is the way to go.

Huh. The rules do say that, don't they? Thanks for catching my stupid, there.

But tile 4, as per his writeup is still a plains.

Turn will be up in a bit.

Mechanics question.

Can we have a fractional quantity of goods? Since I'll most likely be producing 2 units of clothing and consuming 1.1 of them, but I don't know will those 0.9 simply go away or be stored.

Yes, for luxury and money (which I think I forgot from Cheddarius' turn), you can have fractional amounts, but not for other things.

That means that the numbers given for Shrine and Tomb should be 1 as well (multiplied to 1.5 with a high priest).

Neruz, do you have any specific research in mind?

Farming seems like a good place to start, cut down on those food working requirements.

ok posted my 2nd turn.

I think the issue about my rp is fixed, i'm going to have a very clear seperation between rp and mechanics, mechanics will just use whatever is avaliable, then I will write up fanciful tales in the rp, and you can decide to add or subtract things from that if you so desire.

That works. Keep in mind that the Granary you're building won't be ready to hold the 1 food you have in surplus.

Yes, for luxury and money (which I think I forgot from Cheddarius' turn), you can have fractional amounts, but not for other things.
An addendum, here: To keep things smooth, I'm going to first determine the amount of money normally generated as a natural number (rounded normally), then apply modifiers such as the Marketplace.

Speaking of money, I've decided to try this:
If you have trade, you can, once per year, pay 10 money to gain 1 additional point of labor. There's only so much that people can do in a year, so you can't do this twice even if you have the money.
