It was a female vampire or something in anime.. not sure what it was but it was female.

It was Yuuko, the Dimensional witch from XXXholic. So not a Vampire. I used it because it was creepy, and I thought people could look beyond the female ness.

I don't get Internet logic like this. It's weird even for my idea of having a fort where carp and dwarves can live together in harmony.

Yes well when you act intelligent, (I find that most jerks on the internet are male) don't have a gender posted in your personal info, and have a name that is asexual or even feminine in most languages, the avatar is practically the only thing to go off of.

Consciously, I realize that avatars probably don't mean anything in terms of gender, but I generally perceive people as what their avatar is (What I mean is, I go "Oh, ___? Yeah, he's the guy with the avatar that looks like this" and connect the two), so I usually say "she" for people with female avatars if I don't think about it.

That is also why I am annoyed slightly by people who get a new avatar every couple of days. Although I am starting to get use to some of those people.

Also people that have the same or close to the same avatar as other people are annoying somewhat.

Yeah, it's getting really annoying trying to differentiate between The Architect and Jackrabbit. Whenever I see The Architect I think "Ah, Jackrabbit" and then I see the messed up teeth and there's a moment of confusion.
