This is a game called Treasure Sounds Alot Like Treachery. The players enter a Forbidden Ruin to loot it. The players receive an individual score, based on treasure deposited, and treasure cannot be shared. So every piece of treasure someone else gets, is one less for you!
The map is split roughly in half. You'll probably encounter one person early on, then another two shortly thereafter, and then everyone meets in the middle where there is a bunch of loot and a few pieces just lying around.
Note that almost all the treasure is hidden behind some kind of defense. You need a Machete to cut down vines, a Crowbar or Axe to open up a chest, or a Shovel to dig up Dirt.
SIGNUP
To sign up you have to post your symbol and your 3 equipment picks. The first 8 people to sign up get spaces. If you edit your signup post, for example to post "IN" and then read later, I will go by the latest edit time. This means you might post first, edit much later, and end up not playing.
POSTING
After I update, you post your turn. I will wait for everyone to post their turns and then process them in order. But the "safe zone" is 24 hours from my update. I may update later than that, but I will not update earlier. If you haven't posted by the time I update, you stand there doing nothing.
When I update, I process everyone's actions in order of posting.
Do not edit your turn posts. If your turn post is edited you will lose a life.
ACTIONS
You get 3 Movement per turn. You don't have to spend them all. Moving in any direction takes 1 Move.
You cannot move through or onto someone else, nor can you move through walls.
After you move, you can make an action. That can be an attack, setting or disarming a trap, or using an item. Except with ranged attacks, you must be adjacent to something to interact with it.
You can pick up objects you walk on for free if you have space and you want to take them.
MELEE ATTACKS
When you attack someone, you have a 50% chance to hit. If you hit, you cause 1 HP of damage.
Everyone has 3 HP. At 3 HP your character is Green. At 2 HP it's yellow, and at 1 HP it's red. If you reach 0 HP you die, drop your items, and restart at a random entrance.
When you die you lose a life. Everyone starts with 3 lives.
When you attack in melee the target gets to counter-attack for free immediately after. He follows the same procedure. He cannot counter-attack if he died or if he's using a missile weapon.
MISSILE ATTACKS
When you fire, you choose a cardinal direction. The shot travels in that direction until maximum range. The shot tries to hit every target in the line from closest to farthest, 30% chance to hit, 1 HP damage if it hits.
If the shot hits a wall or door it stops.
If you shoot at a melee-wielder who is adjacent, he gets a counter-attack against you as above.
EQUIPMENT
You can carry 5 items and you start with 3 of your choice. Usually one of those is a weapon, but you can choose to go unarmed. Each weapon has a special effect if you're wielding it, whether you attack or not in that turn. You can swap carried weapons or put away your weapon at the start of your turn for free.
You cannot choose TREASURE for your 3 EQUIPMENT picks.
The blue items on the equipment list are single-use, the rest last forever.
TREASURE
Each piece of treasure counts as one carried item.
If you step on one of the entrances you deposit all your held treasure and gain the point value for them. You can choose to instantly retire from the game.
If you lose your last life, your total point value is halved.
The game ends when the board is empty of treasure, or there is only one player left, or all players on the board vote unanimously to end the game.
Whoever has the most points when the game ends is the winner.

Trap Stepping on a set trap causes 1 to 3 HP damage and vaporizes the trap
Unarmed +1 Move, no counter-attack
Wrench Set or disarm traps, turn Scrap Metal into a Trap
