I played Arkham Horror twice. Well, I'm not sure if played is the right word. Most of the people gave up before we got to the end. It's a very complex game... I would like to try to play a whole game sometime though.

The man you've seen makes you to feel strange. You get some uncomfortable feeling when you try to remember how he looked. Overcoming your reluctance, you speed up and walk around the corner. You don't see anyone there, although you noticed some strange movement in the air the moment you turned your head. Like an air was moving or steam cloud was dissolving.

But now there's nothing, just an empty street. Probably the strange guy turned around the next corner of your house. You shrug and go to the street to finally buy flowers. Too many things distract you from your main goal. Probably it has something to do with your partial loss of memory.

You stand in front of a flower stall. It's a small construction, with glass walls and a glass door which is opened. There's a woman vendor inside (W), and she smiles at you. An ambulance drives by, with sirens turned on.

Buy some flowers. See if anything here jogs the memory.

[Faden]

Purchase a hyacinth, lupines if she doesn't have any hyacinths, venus flytraps if she doesn't have any lupines, or roses if she doesn't have any of the above.

You buy some red roses, you remember Anna loves them. Ouch, 150 roubles per rose... You buy 5, it leaves you with 50. You can barely take two bus trips now... Oh well, at least you have flowers and Anna lives across the road.

When you leave a stall, a man in a suit comes up to you. His suit looks expensive, and he has fashionable shoes. But his eyes look a bit crazy. He talks to you in a nervous voice. "Hello, buddy! I am just from a bar, and I cannot buy my girl a drink because I've lost my vallet. Can you help me a bit? Look, I have a fine leather belt, you can get it for cheap! Just any money you can spare, please."

Then he looks at the glass wall of the stall, and his face becomes deadly white. He opens his eyes in terror and almost screams. Then he looks at you and tries to smile, however he barely manages to make a grin. Then he looks away and asks you again. "My gal needs a drink, please buy it, buddy!"

You look at the window but you see only a reflection of both of you, nothing strange there.

Hmmm. Ask what he saw in the window.

I am suspicious of his motives! Um... Well, I guess we can give him a little bit of money, but don't take the belt!

Give him the money, say he can keep his belt. Make up a monkey allergy.

[Deon]

"Hey, mister. I saw you didn't like your reflection. What happens?"
He trembles when you mention the reflection, but then grins and says: "Nothing, buddy. I am just a bit nervous because my suit is dirty due to this weather, and my girl will definitely not like it."

You are pretty sure his suit is clean.

"So, buddy, are you buying? Look, it's a belt I've bought in Africa, it's a monkey leather, you won't find it anywhere else!" He frantically shakes the belt before your face. "How much money do you have? Any price. My gal needs a drink!"

"Eh, sorry mister... Monkey leather you say? I have 50 roubles, you can buy a single drink, that's all... And don't make fun of me, you can't buy a cheapest belt for 50 roubles, the cheapest artificial leather belt costs 100 roubles..."
He interrupts you. "50 roubles? Man, it's a beer for my sister! Let me have them, and this belt is yours! I don't make fun of you, it's real!"

You see he almost laughs, a maniacal grin crosses his face.

You don't like it at all, so you answer. "Mister, you can have these money, I can barely buy anything with them, but I don't need your belt. And it looks like it has some bite marks on it [Insight check], did you bite your monkey leather?" You try to make a smile.

"No, no! Buy it now! Or I will sell it to someone else! Or I will kill you, buy it!!!"
