Grab the knife. I knew we would have to use it.

Combat Rules
« Reply #108 on: March 06, 2010, 02:38:15 pm »

Let me explain basic rules:
1 turn to:
-1 step in any direction
-1 attack
-put an item in your backpack
-retrieve an item from your backpack
-pick up an item from a ground

Also you can initate a "sprint" by moving two tiles forward, but you can use it during 2 turns max and then wait 1 turn to restore this ability when you stop it, also you cannot attack the turn after you sprint.

You can drop any item without wasting turn during any phase.

I am not a expert on legal practices in Russia, but is it illegal to threaten someone with a knife?

It is. I think I gave you enough tips, now the next thought will take over.

Move, kick or what... You decide.

You step backwards in the stall, calling to flower lady for help in a loud voice. You see how she yells in confusion.

The man makes a step after you, raising his belt.

The following events happen within a moment. He raises his eyes and looks around. Then he tries to protect his face and close his eyes with his hands: "No, go away, go away!" He screams and runs out of the stall, towards the road.

You think you notice a pale silouette which extends out of the glass windows of the stall and follows the man.

Then the daze disappears and you hear a loud beep of a car and a flump. The woman behind you screams.

You run out of the stall and see that the man was hit by a car. His mangled body is laying on a road, with his skull cracked open and brains and blood pouring out. His deformed face has a terrible grin.

Then you look down and see something shining under your legs. It's a buckle of a belt. It's a buckle of THAT belt. It flew out of the man's hand and now is lying next to your feet.

You look around trying a find someone, but it looks like the street is empty. You hear how the woman takes out her mobile phone and calls police, trying to explain the situation. You step aside from the belt, although it's shiny buckle drags your attention and asks you to examine fancy symbols depicted on it.

You move closer, but you cannot focus on symbols as though as your vision is blurred. You think you have to pick it up to see the symbols better, and this idea starts to overwhelm you.

Get away from the belt! And call the paramedics or police or something.

Back away from daemon belt, find a person of authority, like a police officer and report what happened.
